Diappointing Feature

I purchased this microwave/ convection oven because it's size will hold a 9 x 13 oblong baking dish and I was looking forward to using the convection oven with this 3 qt. size dish.
No where did it say that you could not use this size -or that the turntable turns always - so dish bangs against the door. I wish there was a way to stop the turntable.
The microwave works great but I never would have purchased this pricey model had I known I could not use it.

Bought this oven 4 months ago. Have yet to use the convection oven part. Takes a bit to learn the controls as they are not as intuitive as most microwaves. Timer only works in multiples of 15 seconds. To operate microwave must 1.) push "time cook" button, 2.) rotate another knob to set the time (only in 15 second intervals) , 3.) Push this knob to enter the time one just selected, and finally 4.) push the start button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent microwave

This is the second one that I have bought (same model). The first one lasted almost 10 years and was used almost daily. Good convection baking. Good overall microwave.

I loved the features of my GE Profile Convection Microwave oven. I gave it only 3 stars because the oven developed a 'burst laceration' in the interior metal siding after 7 years and had to be replaced. I liked it enough to order the same. I hope this new one lasts longer.

Love the combination microwave and convection oven. Easy to use but certainly need to experiment with the convection if you've never used one. So far, I'm happy with the countertop size.

Same Great Unit

This is essentially the same unit that we bought over 8 years ago, which we loved until it just wore out from heavy daily use. Easy controls, the micro heats evenly, and the convection feature is great in summer when you don't want to heat up the whole house with the regular oven. Good build quality and decent looks too. We were glad that they still made this combo model. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
