Beautiful microwave however it has died after only 2.5 years. Now I have the impossible task of finding a slate microwave to match all of our other GE appliances. As others have stated our unit seems to have failed due to moisture. At first the turntable would still spin once the door was opened, and now today it has just stopped spinning or heating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy and good microwave but poor convection oven

On convection the oven’s high temperature never reaches 425 degrees . All higher temperatures are 25 less degrees than it says on keypad no matter how long it is preheating

Not a good decision

This is my second microwave exactly like this. Just went out. First one about 1 1/2 yrs, now this one 3 1/2 yrs. At this expensive price, I feel it should last longer or I should buy a cheap one. Maybe used 2 times a day for warming food only. This one started out with the turntable going around when you open the door. Now only the fan works. From What I google, it seems to be a latch issue. I think that’s what it was the first time. GE, maybe you need to look into the latch design. I guess I need another brand. I’m so sorry as I’m from Louisville where GE was known at one time for their products. I’ll be glad to trial one.

Works as one would expect a microwave to work. Have not yet used the connection feature. Really like the mute button so if using early in the morning it doesn't wake the whole house with the beeping.
