Smaller than I Expected

This convection microwave is smaller than I expected. I bought this appliance hoping to avoid having to change my kitchen configuration to accommodate a double oven. I was able to bake rolls in the microwave for Thanksgiving but was hoping for more room to possibly bake casseroles etc. Inside surfaces are not easy to clean after using convection roast feature. Needs to come with more guidance on which feature to use for which foods including recipes.

Microwave and Convection Oven

What I don't like is I have not been able to figure out how to increase the temp or decrease the temp on the convection roast part of the oven. There is no way to see the numbers on the microwave at night without turning a light on. It is black on black and even with lighting hard to distinguish which number you want to punch and use.

My problem is that the microwave was received with the moving ring that goes beneath the rotating glass plate broken. I have managed to work around this, but I would appreciate receiving a replacement.
Other than that, we think that it is an excellent machine and are enjoying using it for its multiple capabilities.

We love all white traditional kitchen appliances, and it is difficult to find capable modern appliances in this color. This unit is full featured, high quality, and fits perfectly with our kitchen décor.

Smaller than my 2015 ge cafe series 1.5 microwave

My 1.5 cafe series microwave/convection oven died recently and I need a replacement of similar size because I have mine built in with the optional trim kit. I had questions since my original one is discontinued and my new options are now a little smaller or a little bigger dimensions. The do not currently make my exact dimensions. I went through GE chat and was guided toward my best option and would require a new trim kit. Customer service was excellent overall and I was able to make it work and it looks great. Trim kit I got is metal and only thing that was worse is that from the side there is a little bit of black plastic that my previous trim kit had zero plastic visible.

Great Microwave but Questionable Handling

I’m on my second microwave after initial delivery. There was an obvious dent on the side of the microwave the installers covered with warranty paperwork prior to taking the install pic. The packaging seemed robust and the microwave is great. Make sure to inspect for damage!
