Really nice hybrid oven/cooktop

I am enjoying my new electric convection oven with amazing room inside coupled with a gas cooktop. I am new to gas and it is so great at keeping a rock steady temperature. I like the looks and feel of the oven. The digital display is super sensitive and I often would inadvertently touch a button. Now when I don't use the oven I use the lock-out function to avoid accidental selections. I like that this unit has a 3 setting warmer drawer so that it is useful for more than just storage.

GE Profile, dual fuel

I researched this stove for about 6 months-reading reviews, visiting stores to see it, and also other stoves. Finally picked this one and just love it! I am glad to have it. I bought an oven thermometer to try to see how to get the correct temp inside the oven. When we had a repair man out to check on our refrigerator-he said those store thermometers are worthless-not to use them. He said if you don't have one like the repair men use, it won't give you accurate info. He also said that it would never hold the exact temp inside that you have it set at-just like a thermostat won't hold a temp in your house. So, was thankful for that info. I have enjoyed the convection oven. Like the cookies and pies and the way they come out. I would recommend this oven/stove. The quick boil burner heats very fast and the tea pot is really hot to touch-so be careful when using. Cleans up well.

I have been using this stove since the first of April and do like the ease of use and the overall appearance of the stove. I've always had electric glass top stoves in the past so cleaning is a little more intense, but manageable. Love cooking with gas.

I have been using new dual fuel ge range for two months now. Wasn't sure it I would like cooking with gas but I am now! Gas is the way to go! Plus the oven is great! I would buy this ge range all over again. It is easy, to use and easy to clean. And so far it appears to be well made.

Haven't Been Able to Use Fully

In less than 1 week the stove control panel had a F76's ... we also have experienced F71's . A serviceman came out and needs to switch out the control panel .. it just goes off peeping and peeping .. and we have to pull the fuse from the electrical box. I like the ease of cleaning the stove top .. but the burners themselves are very heavy and awkward considering it is both burners in one piece. Love the griddle in the middle. I have not used the oven or the warming drawer. I adore the burner that is large and has a smaller burner in the same burner. Great feature. I am just disappointed that a new stove like this one is, that we are experiencing huge issues. I really want a new stove, as I am aware once something major like a control panel being switched out, we are living on borrowed time.

The display panel is very dark with no back lighting which makes it very hard to program especially if you have a microwave oven mounted over it.
Also the oven racks tend to stick.
The stovetop burners usually take more than one twist before they ignite.

Excellent Range

We purchase this unit to complete our new kitchen and have loved it since day 1. It is well laid out, has many positive features, is easy to clean and has plenty of cooking area in the oven as well as being an exceptionally great convention oven.
