Great stove

Great stove. The product is very user friendly I install this myself and can be easily converted to LP GAS

Great Oven

Cooked Thanksgiving dinner in my new wonderful oven. After living with a old convection oven that had no oven space I was able to fit a stuffed 20 lb turkey comfortably! It cooked evenly and was delicious! I love cooking with the gas cook top. It is easy to clean and easy to use. All in all very happy with my new oven!!!

Great Range, HOWEVER...

We bought this range less than a year ago. Overall, it's great. HOWEVER, there is a white power that comes from the area that surrounds the interior oven door glass. The powder is dispersed into the oven (and likely onto our food); we find a dusting the floor of the oven after the door has been closed. When the door was taken apart we discovered a crumbling white substance that seems to have been applied to the channel around the glass that holds an insulating rope. We vacuumed it out and we thought the problem was solved. NOPE, we continue to find fine white dust on the interior floor of the oven... and likely in our food. The powder is not coming from the insulating rope. It has nothing to do with the self-cleaning function (which we have not yet used). It appears to be a material or construction flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything I want in a Range

We shopped all brands, some lots more expensive, but this range had everything we wanted and better reviews. We have had GE appliances before and were never disappointed with the quality. I am one of the few that still make pickles and jam and the center burner is fantastic for that. Looking forward to many, many years of enjoying this range.

This GE Profile slide in range has been a very good product. I have had it 2+ years and we cook all the time, so it has gotten lots of use. No problems.
There are a few things that could use improvement, but they are not deal breakers. First, the large Power Burner has an inner ring and an outer ring, which really makes a large pot of water heat quickly. However, if you want to turn it down, you then only have the small power ring. It would be nice to be able to use either the large ring, small ring or both rings.
The other thing is the stainless surface on the top. It is very shiny, which looks great, but it has to be cleaned with Stainless Polish almost daily. A damp sponge leaves streaks and cloudiness. If the top was brushed stainless, this would be less of an issue and maybe skipping a day or two of polish would be possible.
But it is a great product and I have no regrets!

Oven glass is faulty.

Oven glass exploded when I used self clean. This was the second time to use this feature.

control panel continues to give us issue

We love this range. It looks good and works great, when it works. This is not the second time we will need to replace the control panel and now we are no longer under warranty.
