cooking can be controlled much better than electric cooktop. only issue is itshard to reduce heat to simmer, must move pot away from flame to accomplish same.

Converted to propane for this range.Very professional but measure carefully making sure to include the oven handle which can block cabinets that are close.

I LOVE IT...I found myself looking at it every time I went in to look at another model I thought I would buy. I love it. It is beautiful and is perfect in my kitchen. I enjoy cooking now.

Uneven baking

several times now while baking cookies the oven does not seem to be cooking evenly. I have tried several types of cookie sheets, but it always seem to cook too much on the bottom even with the convection bake being used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE dual fuel

Less than thrilled. Oven light burns out often. Takes long time for oven to heat up and is uneven.

Good burner selections

I upgraded to this range when buying a new house in Jan. I am very glad I did. The 4 round burners are all different sizes to suit about any pot. And with dual elements in the largest, you actually have 5 burner sizes to choose from. Center griddle is nice. Have not used it to much but the extra grid space is nice when you have a bunch of pots going. The oven came with three racks. The main rack is like a drawer in that it has guides and wheels making rolling out a large bird easy. That rack can also stay in while cleaning. The only thing I don't like or maybe I just haven't figured it out yet is the included oven temp probe. You stick it in the meat and set the internal temp you want to achieve and it takes you there. I would like the option to just be able to stick it in and read/monitor internal temp
