Well designed and functional.

A great stove! The only issues we have with it is that it takes a long time for the oven to come up to the set temperature and the gas burners sometimes put out too much heat when a very low heat is required. Otherwise, we're very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the appearance, all the different burner sizes, esp. the center griddle area, and the many features. After the initial installation problem with the slide in- (the back not flush with the wall so the counter backsplash had to be cut to allow it to slide all the way back) was resolved,the only minor issue so far is the sensitivity of the touch control buttons when wiping clean- they come on very easily.

Fast boil and good simmer from same burner. Finally a simmer burner that anyone can use. The dual ring burner also boils faster than previous models.

Finally-gas!

We received our new gas oven at the start of summer. First, it is beautiful! Second, it is the first time I've cooked on gas in decades so I love that I can finally use gas again. The cook top is wide, and when I am not using the center grill, which I do a good amount, I use it to rest my spoons and bowls etc. (I was concerned about losing this space when I made the switch.) The burner strengths took some getting used to, but we figured it out easily enough. It was fairly seamless for me to switch from electric to gas. There's just something about gas.... And I love to cook.
Since it is summer, I have only used the oven a couple of times-we grill a lot. I can't say much about the oven, haven't used the broiler or the warming drawer-except to store my lids. But one central reason I chose the Profile was the oven capacity. I look forward to putting it to use.
Even with scant oven use, I am SO happy with my choice. The continuous grates on the cooktop are easy to use, and I have no trouble lifting them to keep the top clean.
It took us forever to make our choice of stoves, and at this point, I would not want anything different.

Best stove

Every feature is great and it is easy to clean. However, the oven light already went out twice in 2 months that I've had it. I love this stove. And the grill works very well with steaks.

Does Preheating Need to Take So long

Bought this slide in gas range/oven and began using in june. Oven cooks food like it's supposed to but takes 20 - 25 minutes of preheating before reaching set temperature. Very annoying. Gas cook top is very nice, especially the rapid boil, high BTU burner.
