We had GE appliances in our old home

Wonderful experience

Have unit about 2 months. Overall experience great. Caution since one door bin does not hold 2 gallons of milk - need to separate. Nice if capacity was a little larger. Plus, deli drawer could be make as two drawers so do not have to open both doors to access.

Several years ago we purchased a new gas stove in slate. I hadn't looked much at the refrigerators as I didn't need one at the time. I was horrified to find out the slate refrigerators lacked a selection. I have a galley kitchen. The refrigerators have grown since our last purchase 14 years ago. Luckily the slate color is popular and GE is always adding new styles. I really had to look hard to find something that would work. Fortunately, we had our kitchen remodeled so the builder had our dimensions for the get go. He bumped out the drywall behind the frig and went into our staircase in the basement a few inches. Then finished it off nicely so it wouldn't look odd. Those extra 5 inches make a huge difference.
I'm very happy with this purchase. I debated over the ice maker in the door or not. I chose the extra space over the ice maker. I've never had one before so I do not miss it. The water quality in the frig is good. It's cold and tastes good. If you tried to fill a water bottle I guess you would say it comes out slow but for a glass of water its fine. Its quiet, easy to keep clean and it looks great. The shelves are adjustable so it gives you a lot of flexibility. I tried pushing the half shelf back for several weeks and it just didn't do it for me. I took the left top shelf out completely and everybody likes it better. (to many wine bottles I guess) So that flexibility comes in handy.
My only complaint about this refrigerator is the ice maker. As the bin fills up, the ice flies out the back and goes under the frig. Not a problem, just shut the ice maker off. Well, you have to be a contortionist to reach the on/off switch inside. The switch is so deep into the back of the frig I can barely reach it. They really need to move it.
Overall, I would highly recommend this refrigerator.

We bought this a few months ago and it has performed as expected. Plenty of space in refrigerator, but I find the freezer a bit smaller than the model we used to have where the freezer was on top.

Great features. Good looking unit. The LED lights inside are awesome! Refrigerator/freezer controls on door are easy to use- temp display is a great feature. The only thing I don't like in comparison to my previous GE refrigerator/freezer is the freezer chest drawer on bottom . It is much more difficult to organize and fit as many groceries in the chest slide out drawers and ice maker/holder takes up alot of room.

Very spacious

Just installed in a new house a few months ago. We really like the features and the spaciousness of this Profile model. So glad we did not get the exterior door water dispenser so we have more room in the fridge. The interior LED lighting is excellent.
