The refrigerator has many modern features some of which I don’t even know about yet. I do like the inside layout and the ability to customize the shelves.

Slow ice maker

The ice maker takes 2+ weeks to fill - not sure if this is the expectation or issue. Either way I have service coming out for the second time to check issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's what we were looking for but it has a hum when running and the seal around the freezer door does not seal properly creating some moisture then ice forms. This occurs on one side of the freezer door. Need to wipe up the moisture continuously. Love the slate color. Otherwise, the GE Profile is a great product. I wish it was perfect.

The GE Profile refrigerator just has that extra bit of class and durability feel to it. We opted for the in freezer ice maker and it would be nice if the ice was rotated or filled from the back as we take the oldest first and refresh the supply each time we take some out.

Really great refrigerator

The metallic gray color is great. Tired of the stainless steel. The LED lighting inside lights up everything from front to back. Loads of options inside with the adjustable shelves and the compartment in both doors. The deep freezer draw is so much nicer than the skinny side by side freeze that we had before.

Consider another brand made cheap problems

..is not made to last ..after the first year ice maker x#%÷ the bed
Now it leaks from the bottom freezer door
Checked cleaned and have completed everything related ..still leaks still no ice
