Beautiful exterior and large interior.

This is a replacement for a 17 year old refrigerator. The new refrigerator is 4 cu.ft. Larger but fits into where the old refrigerator sat. I’m not used to the refrigerator being so cold but I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be. All the food stays fresh longer. We threw out two batches of ice and the new ice is fresh and tastes good. I’m so happy now that I have all matching appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great fridge except noisy

This fridge is very spacious and has some great features. Is also very beautiful from the outside. My only complaint is that it is noisy most of the time. Can even hear it upstairs.

Good looking but needs more shelf depth

Pros: handsome and sleek appearance with very nice finish. Good quality materials on the inside.
Cons: (1) This is a counter-depth fridge (which we need for our space), which is of course shallower than a standard-depth. For us, too much of the interior storage is in the doors, including capacity for 1-gallon jugs, which requires the shelves to recessed, and so the shelves are super shallow and the produce bins have minimal capacity. Our previous (25-yr old) GE Profile side-by-side was a great design but no longer exists. (2) The freezer is ridiculously hard to open. You have to pull so hard on the handle that the entire unit slides forward; we have taken to putting one hand on the fridge handles to stop the sliding when opening the freezer; am worried about how long that freezer handle will last (btw, yes, I know how to adjust the feet so it is not sitting on the wheels). (3) Water supply intake in the back is at a crazy angle that points directly at an obstruction, which makes it very difficult to connect the water line; it's as if none of the engineers ever tried it.

Versatile and attractive

Highly efficient use of space in an attractive package. Low energy use. The only drawback we have found is that the water dispenser spout is difficult to access, although manageable.

GE refrigerator

It’s a well built refrigerator from some other brands I looked at. Love the light tan color matches my counters. One big flaw is it is not on wheels so you can move it out like my old one. And you have to really close the door or it will come open again

Nice new features

I bought this refrigerator to replace an older GE french door fridge I liked, but this one is even better. It's well designed and makes excellent use of storage space, with many thoughtful features. I like the slate color and LED lighting, and the water filter system is greatly improved. Very pleased.

Maintains good temperatures, shelves and drawers are well made, LED lights are great, very quiet motor and fan, plenty of room and great organizing features in both refrigerator and freezer. Slate finish looks great in my kitchen. Very classy.
