This refrig freed up floor and traffic space in my smallish kitchen without giving up capacity and organizational features in both the refrigerator AND the freezer! Love the interior lighting. Very competitively priced.

Bought this 18 months ago and it just started making louder motor noise and runs 23 hours per day. It stays at 37 degrees, so will it be 1yr or 5yr warranty? I pulled off the back cover and it looks OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The right choice for our kitchen redo!

I just had a kitchen renovation done and decided to purchase all new GE appliances in the slate finish. The color is perfect and the refrigerator looks nice between new cabinetry. I had a huge refrigerator before, so getting used to the cabinet depth has taken some adjustment, but overall I am very pleased with this product. I really like the lower freezer drawer. The only negative comment would be that this product has a louder-than-normal hum to it during the cooling cycle. But still thankful for this new refrigerator!

This refrigerator is perfect for my kitchen. It's beautiful and has great storage. I particularly love the freezer on the bottom....just great!

Love love the Slate finish

Didn't need the in-door water /ice, I like the clean look of the refrigerator. Plenty of space in doors with adjustable shelves. Slide out freezer drawer with adjustable divider is perfect.

Nice looking Refrigerator

I have had the refrigerator for almost 3 months. It has good features, and is good looking inside and out. I didn't want to pay for the water dispenser on the door, but it does have one inside. The water does taste better than my tap water, but I have to keep the refrigerator open to get the water. So I have a slight regret of not getting the dispenser in the door. My only complaint is the temperature does fluctuate a bit inside. I understand opening the door on a hot day will allow it to rise a bit, but we had an occasion when things started to freeze when I had the temperature set at 37 degrees. After that, I started using a refrigerator thermometer and I have seen a range of 32-42 degrees after it has been closed for an extended amount of time. Most of the time it is 37-40, so I'm okay with it. I just scratch my head when it gets to the more extreme temperatures of 32 or 42 degrees on occasion. I'll admit we bought the brand because GE was the only one to offer the slate color. All in all, we are pretty happy with the refrigerator.
