Impressive appliance with nice features and finish, however, we find this refrigerator only big enough for the wife and I, if you have more than 2 mouths to feed, I'd recommend a larger unit.

Has just the features we were looking for and absolutely love the new slate finish. The inside water and ice is much preferable to the outside door. No more water and ice on the floors!

Great Features, Color Rocks

Refrigerator looks and works great. We have been using this in our dining room while the kitchen undergoes its revitalization. A little disappointed in the compressor sound, but I have not installed it in its final position between two cabinets yet - fingers crossed that it is quieter. Drawers, lights, shelves are all great. Really like the temperature control on the door. Wish the freezer drawer was a little smoother and the left door closed on its own without pushing, but happy with the purchase.

Running just fine; TOP freezer drawer front seems to accumulate light frost build-up. The finish surface really does wipe up easily as claimed!

Looks nice - poor quality

We purchased this refrigerator in white, along with a GE Profile slide in induction stove and dishwasher for our kitchen remodel. Refrigerator was delivered the end of February in 2015, and 14 months later stopped working. A technician replaced the fan on May 25, 2016, and the refrigerator now holds the proper temperature. However, over the past month, it has gotten VERY NOISY, and runs almost continuously. There are only the two of us in the house, and it goes hours without the doors being opened at all, yet it is still running almost all the time and LOUDLY. Very disappointed in GE - this got such a good review from Consumer Reports which is why we bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
