Great Choice

Have had no trouble at all with the product. I have had to replace my hard drive a couple of times and lost the driver disk, but I just went online and found it perfectly. It has been entirely reliable and is very easy to work with. I have had the product over a year and it still works like brand new. The only con is that it is a little bulky and big.
Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, reliable
Cons: Heavy or bulky

It does everything it says it does pretty well. It uses a lot of expensive ink doinfg it though
Pros: durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky, High Ink Consumption

The lPIXMA-160 Multifunctional Inkjet printer has worked very well for all phases of my personal and business activities. Recently, when I upgraded to Windows 7 (64 bit) a Cannon teck sent me a very understgandable EMaIL ON HOW TO UPGRAdE the driver TO WINDOWS 7 AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY. I did have to reload the disk to get the Copier function and the manual on the computer but that worked out very well.

Difficulty printing.

Recently, after 2+ years use, My MP 160 refused to print letter size--it is locked on 6.14 x 9.20 inches even though set up for letter. Have tried everything to correct with no luck. It also sneaks in color when set up to print black.

When it works okay it does great work on text and photos. Scans very well. Have found it very easy to use but for the stated problems.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, works well but for problems noted in review., excellent photos easily fixed!
Cons: Difficult Setup, High Ink Consumption, set up for black ink it sometimes uses color--bad!, locked onto wrong size printing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow Canon, you really made a nice one here. I like how the printer goes really fast in printing.You could improve the print quality a little bit but thats ALL!

Recently had to install printer after getting new hard drive... didnt have my manual, but even I as a complete computer idiot managed to download hardware from site with ease...

After 2 years of having the printer. It just bailed on me. Nothing would print from it and if it did it would wrinkle the paper.

It is a great multifunction copier/scanner machine but now im having problems with it printing saying it needs a download updates which there isnt any. it is important i get this back to where it was printing.
