AWESOME PRODUCT

I WOULD NOT CHOOSE ANYTHING ELSE IN THE MARKET BUT THIS CURVED TV. IMAGE, CONTRAST, RESOLUTION, COLORS, EVERYTHING IS SO NEAT AND COLORFUL. IMAGES LOOK SO REAL AND VIVID.
5 STARS
ONLY ONE THING I WISH IT WOULD HAVE A BETTER AND EASIER DESIGN IS THE WALL MOUNTING. SO THE 55" COULD BE MOUNTED NOT JUST ON THE WALL BUT ON TV TABLE STAND TOO.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS PERFECT.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

EXCELLENT COLORS AND GREAT FOR 3D MOVIES

I am very happy with this TV, awesome colors, love the curve design, thin design but not too heavy, great sturdy base. I use a soundbar with this TV, even though the speakers built in are pretty good. The only item I regret this TV not having, is another audio output so that I can listen to the TV through my soundbar, and my husband could listen to the TV through his TV headets at the same time, since he is hard of hearing.

2 Year Lifespan

I purchased the LG 55EC9300 OLED in October 2015. In the beginning of October 2017, it began displaying wide vertical band and partial screen freezing. A week later, it powered itself off during operation and never came on again. Research into this problem revealed it to be a fairly common one.
A television at this tier should last longer than 2 years. I am extremely disappointed in this product and regret my purchase.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dead at 14 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did enjoy the the OLED picture quality, but just after 14 months of service - the unit is dead. It displayed black areas on the display for a few seconds and the unit powered off and would not turn back on again. I have it connected to a surge protector/line conditioner (Panamax) so I would not suspect a power issue caused it. With the unit's cost and useful service life, this was a bad purchase.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very poor remote.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Where to begin with how poorly designed the remote for the LG TV is? The floating pink marker doesn't locate a target without quite a bit of frustrating guidance. Endless messages about the availability of the latest software. Endless agreements that give up privacy. Voice software, when it recognizes voice and that is 50% of the time, claims not to
find requested site .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellant Picture

This is a beautiful TV, However I would have given it more stars but the WEBOS within the TV is buggy.. I get the HDMI Input box for another input while I'm watching or in one of the APPs within the WEBOS. IE; Netflix or Amazon Prime etc. Then the box will just disappear after about 10 seconds. After about three times of this box interrupting my viewing experience, the sound will cut out and not work. I have to go back into the settings of the TV to change it to Optical out for the attached "LG" Soundbar. Looks like it defaults back to the TV speaker every time. This is frustrating and I was told the only fix was to put the TV back to Factory Defaults. Well, I didn't change any of the defaults except for the sound out setting which was required if I wanted to use LG's own soundbar. I would still recommend this TV to friends with this caveat.
