Contrast between whites & blacks are great but....

Phenomenal contrast between lights and darks; second to none. The set is the thinnest on the market (nearly a centimeter wide).
However, not everything is great. The sound quality is quite thin; borderline poor. In some scenes the picture is a bit blotchy as edges transition from light to dark, but this happens infrequently.
Overall? While you can find some nits to pick, the sound can be addressed with a sound bar or surround system (which many that would purchase a set of this calibre would use anyway). The picture quality is often stunning because of the highs and lows of the color spectrum. The set itself visually sets itself apart from others as it looks more like a piece of art than a TV set.
If you can get one for the right price, this would be a hard set to ignore.

Great picture

I was looking to buy a 4k TV but when I compared the 4k to this model I decided to get the LG OLED. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a quality TV. I had no trouble in setting it up right out of the box.

This is a great TV. I love the picture and I've watched a few 3D programs with no complaints. All in all this TV is well worth the price and I would buy it again.

Picture quality is so good that it looks like 3 D without even using the 3D feature and movies.
Never seen a TV like this.
Also, no point in buying 4k technology when there is hardly any programing.
The picture quality of this TV is unbelievable. Cannot be happy enough.

Stunning picture!

I have had the set for about two weeks. The picture is really fascinating. It appears almost 3D like in the 2D mode! I did customize my settings and found the cinema
user mode the best so far for all input sources. There are a lot of customization controls. You can find custom settings data online from a number of sources. We watched the Tomorrowland Blu-Ray and the picture was fantastic. The magic remote control takes a little getting used to, but it is smartly laid out and once you learn to navigate it, it's a breeze. One caveat on the remote is that it is not backlit and in a dark room it is easy to press the wrong button.

tv broke after 10 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv 10 months ago and the main board and power supply went out. Warranty has 2 months left and I wanted the tv replaced with a new one. After the 2 months if tv goes out again its at my expense. Sorry tv as far as i'm concerned.

Best Picture Ever
