efficient & well designed

The range of shelf levels, door interior configurations of holders, and the freezer compartments make this an efficient appliance to rely upon daily. The freezer's narrow shelf for spices is especially valuable for preserving freshness. We did not connect the ice maker [no use for it], so no comment other than if not used, the metal lever needs to be pushed into the up position to silence the ice maker. Overall, the quietness of operation and relatively low energy use makes this worthwhile if you're a serious cook and require lots of space for fresh and frozen foods.

Sleek design and great capacity

We purchased the Electrolux refrigerator to replace our old freezer/fridge combo. We chose the Electrolux because of its sleek design. I don't like a lot of controls and buttons showing on the outside of the fridge and I don't need a water dispenser since we have an auxiliary water cooler/heater. Inside, we liked the glass shelving and upgraded features like the perfect temp drawer and soft serve drawer. Refrigerator looks great in our kitchen and we're glad we did the counter depth which adds to the sleek appearance of the appliance. The freezer drawer does seem smaller than our old freezer on top model but we have an extra freezer in the basement so it suffices.

Electrolux C80KS Refrigerator

I really like the self closing drawers in both the refrigerator and freezer. The bottom pull out freezer makes removing items easily accessible. The LED lights are great for illuminating items in both the front and back of the refrigerator. The individual temperature control drawer is useful for making cheese close to room temperature and keeping meat colder than the rest of the refrigerator.

Lots of space and nice features

I bought this refrigerator a month ago to upgrade from a 17 year old appliance. We like the customizable fridge which gives us ample storage configurations and the soft freeze compartment. The ice cream is just perfect inside the soft freeze drawer.
Drawback - the ice maker takes a very long to make ice unless the 'quick ice' function is turned on. I think this bumps up the energy consumption. The water pump for the ice is a little more noisy than we expected.

Constant issues

This is year five with this refrigerator and have probably spent as much on repair as purchase. Now there is no one in the area that will work on Electrolux. I'm looking at a temp of 53 degrees on the Fourth of July and wondering who will repair this yet again. We worry every time we leave for a vacation. This has held true for all of the Electolux appliances we put in during our kitchen remodel, dishwasher, cooktop, double ovens. They look good but it ends there. Would not buy this brand again.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Electrolux fridge. I was concerned about getting a slightly small fridge but the well thought out design of this model makes it seem larger. The lighting, temp controlled drawers and the door shelves make this model super efficient. We didn't want a water feature on the door so this was the perfect choice! Love it!!! Not to mention it's beautiful!!

Beautiful BUT

Love all of my Electrolux appliances dishwasher, stove, oven range microwave and our refrigerator, is another story. We love the design, the room in it, the quality of the stainless steel and all the great fun features, the ONLY issue which is a Huge issue, condensation that forms on the outside between the refrigerator and freeze doors 4 months out of the year is UNACCEPTABLE and we have been told there is nothing wrong with the unit and " It is what it is" because we live in a high humidity area??? We live NEAR the shore and our freezer is in our garage with no issues, For the price we paid we should have kept the old one.

Concern about the quality

I purchased the Electrolux refrigerator in December of 2013. I like it a lot. However, I began to have concerns about its quality because I've already received the offer for the extended warranty purchase from Electrolux. This offer is for the 3 years coverage for about $ 800.00 which is a half price of the refrigerator itself. So I am worrying now that maybe Electrolux anticipates the problem with the refrigerator's performance and this is why it is offering this extended warranty right away.
So overall, it is too early for me to recommend the refrigerator to other people or provide the product raiting.
