Awful Hand Mixer!

This is the world's worst hand mixer! If you are lucky enough (1 in a gazillion tries) of getting the beaters inserted and then having them actually stay in place, then the mixer works fine. I many times chose to hand mix my recipe, rather than "fighting" to use this mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like to have a hand held mixer on hand so I don't always have to get out my Kitchen Aide stand mixer. I purchased a Black and Decker hand held mixer awhile ago to use on such occasions. However, I have found that it may be easier to just cart out the big ole stand mixer. I spend more time cleaning off the B&D mixer than actually using it. Whatever I am mixing tends to clump and then builds up in between the beaters, which in turn pushes everything up and sits on the tops of the beaters. I was mixing crema cheese and sugar just yesterday and had to stop numerous times to get the build up off. At one point there was more stuck on top of the beaters than there was in the bowl.
I took a video as to have proof of the lack of mixing ability of this product. I would be happy to send you the video that shows what is happening.
IT is also always a fight to get the beaters in in the first place. They don't just got in easily and sometimes they even pop out while you are trying to use it.
Now I know I purchased a cheaper product, but I still expect it to work for what I need it to.I always thought Black & Decker had good products, but maybe you should stick to power tools.

Garbage Can Here it Comes

Don't expect this mixer to last long!!! I have had this mixer a little over 3 years, of course warranty is for 2 years. Completely died! Just used from time to time. Wasn't like it was used every day or every week or even every month. Black + Decker used to be a good product, one you could trust but not anymore. Really disappointed! I will never buy another Black+ Dealer Product or will I recommend them. It is too bad you can trust the Company brand like use too.
