Doesn't seem to last

I had one of these for almost a year before it stopped working and I sent it back for a warranty replacement, which lasted about two years. The case is great and I didn't have any issues with the parts rusting (I always handwash those), but I need to find a more reliable mixer!

I bought this a while ago, but just tried using it for the first time. The new design of beater does not cream butter and sugar. It just makes the ingredients form balls and the ingredients fly out of the bowl, even though I am using a deep bowl. I see most of the reviews are about beater problems. I am not going to bother with this appliance; it is too frustrating.

Nice mixer with great storage case

I have had this mixer about 5 months and really like it. It works well for my needs (once a week baking). The storage case made me LOVE it. Very handy. The only problem I have had is the beaters have worn or rusted on the ends.

Missing a mixer piece and beater broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one, BLK decker and for over 25 yrs. Plus it was a grandmas before I had it. This mixer runs smooth. It's quieter. Love the many settings and all the awesome attachment! Yowza! This will be my lifer mixer. Thank you very much. Price I paid was great with applying promos and such. I feel like I won!!!

Where do I get new beaters

I love the little mixer, but the beaters are not that great. I need to replace them, but your parts website only had the plastic storage case. I have only used it a few times and I am not happy with they way the beaters are so flimsy.
The whisk is great for pudding. I also would like to purchase a second whisk in case I have an issue with the one it came with.
Sigh!

This product did not perform very well with my need to mash potatoes with it. I have always used a mixer for this task. The style of beaters is too skinny. It doesn't catch the chunks of potatoes they just slip right through the beaters. I am disappointed. I had to mix longer than usual to get all the lumps out. I now have a mixer that does little and yet takes up space in my cupboard. I thought the dough hooks were a nice addition to the product but am now wondering how they will perform. It is another example of the times.... same cost... less product. Bring back the old style beaters. I have always believed that Black and Decker products could be dependable.

I purchased this but i have not used it yet. My niece has one like it and it seems to work well, I have just not had occasion since receiving it to use it. I do like black and Decker products.
