not what expected from B&D

Every time I use this unit I wish I hadn't bought it. It has plenty of power but that is all I can say good about it. I might be spoiled. My previous unit had retractable cord, and beater release button. The storage case just takes up additional space in my cabinet.
Storing the cord in it is not worth the effort. Pay a little extra and get a different unit with the amenities.

Beaters Aren't Great

I used this yesterday morning for the first time to make waffles.
The beaters really aren't very good, even after mixing the thin batter for some time there were a lot of lumps still.
Are there other mixing attachments that would fit in this unit? I would hate to get rid of the unit as the speeds and everything seem just fine, because the mixing attachments aren't good enough.

Disappointing product

I bought this hand mixer because of the Black and Decker name and reasonable price. I find it too powerful, even on the lowest speed. Any mixing with powdered ingredients ends up with the powder all over the kitchen. And if there is any food left on the beaters, the mixer tips over when upright. Also, the prongs of the beater completely broke off the stem after a year or so of very intermittent use. Very poor quality. Give me my old workhorse cheap model that lasted almost 20
years!

I have had this mixer approximately one year. Found it was rather difficult to remember which beater went in which slot, as they were different. Motor or something went out approximately one month ago, didn't last a year. Was not using it for stiff dough at time,it just quit. Not happy with it.

Whisk broken after 6 mos of regular use

Got it as a gift. Used it maybe once a week or less for 6 mos. speed is great, some difficulty on where to put the attachment ( left hole or right, but easy to get used to. Just memorize where). Whisk got broken. Where can i get a replacement? I have used other hand mixers before and was perfect for more than 10 yrs of use.

Powerful Mixer. Beaters, not so much

Hi. I love the mixer, but I've owned this less than a year and the beaters are losing their chrome plating, which can cause rust and ruin recipes. Can you send me some replacement beaters?

"THIS ITEM IS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT"

For ten years I had been using a very inexpensive mixer for baking, mixing etc. After it finally wore out I decided to upgrade and came across this particular itembecause my understanding was Black and Decker was a high quality item. It had a nice plastic storage case and different attachments for various types of mixing. When I started using it it was great, I thought why had I been using my tired old mixer for so many years. This product died within 1 month of purchase. Foolish me didn't save the box or receipt. I suppose I could get the credit card company to issue me a copy. I bought a less expensive brand to replace the broken Black and Decker product. Don't buy it. Just because it looks sleek with it's case has so many attachments they will do you know good with a bad motor. The other issue which I coud have lived with was the cord stuck way too far out of the right side and was so stiff it knocked everything it came into contact with it over
