Beaters won’t stay locked in the unit

So disappointed in this hand mixer. I got it because it had good reviews but it is a piece of junk. I have used it three times, and all three times the beaters spontaneously ejected from the unit. Not even usable at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful Little Work Horse

I have been using this mixer for several months. I love the power this machine has, great for everything from heavy cookie dough to whipped cream. Beats any hand mixer I have ever used and I have been baking for over fifty years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had another black and decker fo 30+ years and loved it. After it finally quit, I wanted to get another of the same brand.
I don’t know if it is the blades all mixers seem to have now or the vents, but, I don’t care how little the amount of flour you add to a recipe, it flies all over the place! I have never had this issue before. It leaves a big mess to clean up as well as the loss of flour from the recipe.

The oldie WAS a goodie

I have always been a loyal B&D consumer. This is my third B&D hand mixer in my life...they are always sturdy and last through the “beating” (pun intended) that i put them through. But i admit that this new whisk-type beater is horrible! If i could purchase replacement beaters that were the old style to put on this machine, that would be great! Otherwise, I’m going to have to go shopping.

Fantastic product

I have wanted this for a while. My daughter has one and when I used hers, I was thrilled with the results. Because of the beaters being designed as they are, the batter was feather light and the food was amazing! Great product!!

I bought this a couple of months ago to use in place of my big Kitchen Aid. Ive used it once to make mashed potatoes and it worked fine. I used the whisk attachment and no lumps! My only problem is I seem to have tossed the owners manual by accident and thought I could find one on this site but no luck.
I would recommend this to a friend!
