Setting up the wireless connection was so simple. I didn't have to select an SSID, nor did I have to remember my WEP; it somehow intuitively automatically connected to my home router....which is kinda scary, but anyway the entire setup took 30 minutes from the time I opened the box to running a test page and updating the firmware

Setup was fairly straight forward, with the exception of loading the paper. I found it far too easy to insert the paper drawer too far into the printer. Got a paper jam. Next, did not insert the paper far enough. Recommend a far more tactile feel to correct position. On line instructions were very good. Quality of print is exceptional.

Set up was the easier printer that I have done. I have set up many but this one was really well done.

Owned an Epson 810 before.I loved. It worked flawlessly until crashing. I looked at Epson and a few other brands but decided to stick with the Expression XP-820. The reason are: (1) ease of use (2) size (3)controls are easy to use (4) auto double sided feature which I haven't used but which I hope will be straight forward and (5) the printer's cost.

I had an XP-850 and this is the next closest model to it. I loved the 850 and I am sure I will love the 820. The XP models are easy to set up and use. The screen on the 820 is larger which that will allow me easier visual of icons. The ink in the 820 last longer and is clearer to read then a laser printer. The ink cartridges are easy to install and remove (when replacing).

Just got this printer because my Artisan 835 died after a few years so can't say much except the install went quick and easy on Windows 10 unit and my test printing is good quality. I have owned Epson printers for years and if this one performs like all the others I have had I will have no complaint.

Easiest setup and Wi-Fi connection ever - my last printer could never find the internet connection and had to be re-setup for every use - the XP 820 doesn't falter and prints immediately - copies and printed materials are crisp and clean - photos are really sharp - the display touch screen is bright, adjustable, and easy to use - and the ability to print from my iPhone and iPad is just icing on the cake!!!
