A great All-In-One at a great price

This is a great little All-In-One at a fantastic price. A great value! I would never have guessed I could get an all-in-one with all these features for such a low price. I bought it primarily to print on inkjet printable CDs and DVDs, but it does so many other things so well. The duplex printing and scanning features are great and work flawlessly. The accompanying utilities make using all of the features of this great all-in-one a breeze! Great job on design and implementation Epson!

Very Disappointed

The color on paper did not print as vibrant as it did on photos. Could not get it to print labels correctly. Now it will not print from the automatic document feeder; it's always wanting to pull from the rear feeder. Paper trays are too small and awkward. The only thing it does great, is print beautiful pictures. If that was the sole reason I purchased it, I would keep it, but that was the secondary reason for choosing this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought an XP-820 Printer last year and since my last printer NX420 did not have air print capabilities, I was hoping that with the XP-820 I could resolve that inconvenience, However I still couldn't air print yet. Everything else is working just right. It was very easy to upgrade the software via WiFi. Yes, I would recommend this printer to a friend.

For some reason, I've always ignored Epson products when it came time for a new all-in-one. BIG MISTAKE!! THIS UNIT DOES EVERYTHING RIGHT!

A Complete, User Friendly Printer

This printer has everything I wanted in a printer...
-works quietly
-ADF
-CD printing capabilities
-Great adjustable ink yield possibilities (to use to print various types of media...this is important because the ink is the Top Epson quality you would expect, but its a little pricey compared to other printer/ink brands)
-GREAT Epson quality to work with software applications (Ps, Ai, etc...)
-everything closes completely -no exposed paper or open ADF trays (Important if you have cats that like to lay on things)
-low/small profile when you are printing (either from tray or ADF)
-wifi
-app to GO With the Wi-fi
-works quietly
-ADF
-CD printing capabilities

I found the email distance print feature a little challenging to set up and if small children arrive to turn off the printer, you may have to reconnect the printer's drives on your system (perhaps not an issue using Win 8+) #runningVista

I've had the Epson XP-820 for almost 3 yrs. or more now and let me tell you. This small-in-one/all-in-one printer hasn't let me down in no shape, form or fashion! The photos come out amazing and printing is a breeze.

I really like the XP820. It performs its tasks so well and most of it all by itself. Just don't like the cost of the ink, but thats a very general statement.
