Great All in One

not only was this a great deal pricewise compared to the competition, it is compact so it easily fits on top of a regular 2 drawer file cabinet to save room.
All the features work as advertised. it does a great job of copying, Faxing as well as printing.
it also seems to use less ink that the unit it replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer works well and prints great pictures. My only problem with it is the price of ink refills are a bit high. Have not had it long enough to know how long it lasts.

One concern I found with this printer is the capacity of the paper tray for 8 1/2 X 11 paper. If Epson does not wish to provide a larger capacity paper tray, they should consider offering a larger size capacity tray for purchase aftermarket.

The Epson xp-820 printer has met our expectations. As with any new purchase there is a learning curve. Our previous printer (different manufacturer) had used for years and knew how to adjust for pictures. This one operates differently and thus the learning curve referred to. It is much quieter than our previous printer and offers 2 loading trays for different size paper. This is a nice feature and helps with smaller prints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall not a bad printer. Cons are ink availability in most stores and software for scanner is not user friendly. My previous printer was HP and I found it much easier to use.

Decent economy priced laser.

Compact size with acceptable color printing at an economy price. Connection to the network was painless and automatic, but did require a couple of setup attempts. Smart phone connection is excellent. So far, a much better alternative to an ink jet for occasional printing. Not the fastest by a long shot but completely adequate for home use.

Difficult to scan and copy from feeder tray.

The printer gives excellent color copies/prints. I is also very east to check your color levels. My difficulty is some times I have to restart my IMac for the printer to work. Not a big problem but a nuisance.
