The inks empty ridiculously quickly. It is a waste of money to have to replace ink after less than 50 copies. Next, the printer will indicate, for example, to replace yellow. But what it doesn't indicate is that other ink colors may also require changing because it only indicates ONE ink in the recurring message. Irritating beyond measure. The function keys aren't intuitive and one gets into a round-robin of going back and forth to do straightforward actions. In all, great concept, poor navigation and excessive waste of ink.

It rarely works. I can print out email but nothing else such as documents attached to the email. I go to your IPad utility and attempt to print. It shows that the Epson printer is there. Once I press the print button it tells me that the printer cannot be found.
I attempt to enable it manually, giving the app the address showing in the printer and I get an invalid entry response.
I have a brother inkjet at my other location. It was a simple setup performed virtually automaticly; done using a temporary usb cable
I need it to be linked to three IPods, three IPads, 1 Mac air and 1 dell laptop running Windows 10

I received this printer as a gift. I've had it for 3 months and it has worked only one time. Piece of junk. Don't waste your money and worse yet, your time constantly troubleshooting.

This printer is hard to setup. My printer takes a little over 4 minutes to send a document to the printer by Wi-Fi to be printed. The instructions did not recognize my printer automatically I had to install the serial number manually. The color and detail are very good if you have all day to print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Printer Setup

I just bought this printer today after reading many reviews. Bought the XP-820 over the XP-620 due to the extra features - Memory card reader, top feed tray, and fax. Set up was very easy. The height clearance where my printer goes is limited to 11 inches and this printer fits with no problem even with the top open to insert the ink cartridges. My only concern is ink usage which I will find out about in the near future.
I would recommend this to a friend!
