CD?

We have been a satisfied Epson user for a long time. This CD is awful. It was very difficult to get the instruction buttons to work. Example, to finally use English I had to push that button three times. Each time it directed me to French, then I would have to go through process of cycling to get back to English. Three Times? Really? In today's computer environment, you should take a very close look at the group that wrote this thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs Owners Manual

There is NO instruction manual with the printer. Very difficult to get started with so little information on how to set up the printer and its use. Can't understand why Epson is so reluctant to take the time and expense to produce a good owners manual for those of us who struggle with setting up printers. Also, the print driver for MAC was not included with the printer, and it should be. Not sure a first time computer user should purchase an Epson printer since there is so little support.

Too Easy

It took me a little longer setting the printer up but only because I was trying to make it harder and more difficult than it actually is. The installer walks you through each step. Great compact size so it will fit almost anywhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Scanner is awfull

I use the all in one for the majority for scanning only.
I replaced my Artisan 837 after 1 cartridge kept on leaking all over the paper. The scanner still worked fine after 25000 scans

The replacement model for the Artisan was the XP-810 i looked that one up and had worse reviews than the XP-820 so to the 820 there the scan specs were the same as with the Artisan and the XP-810
Well the quality output might be the same but this scanner is slower than the Artisan 837.
The document placing on the glass is different not anymore left top corner but is now below on the right which means with books you have to look careful if you placed it right (which means making the process even more slow) Than it is not possible to get it straight on the glass there the pin for the closing of scanner is in that same bottom corner and not measure out to not interfere with the placement of documents.

I was delighted when I hooked up my new Epson printer and it all worked the first time. It took less than 20 minutes. All the networking, tablets, laptops, desktop etc., went together
without any problems.
Like all the Epson products I have owned in the past, the quality is outstanding. I would recommend this printer to anyone who wants high quality printing at a reasonable price.
