Good; not perfect

Prints very well. It has more ways to tweak the printing than I can use...too many for me. I haven't yet figured out how adjustments on the printer work in connection with adjustments made from my computer. I change paper a lot, and that's not as quick to do as with my previous printer. It's sleek and low in appearance and has a small footprint. I like that. The ink seems to be even more costly than the ink for my previous printer.

Piece of _____!

This is by far the worst printer/copier I've ever owned. It rarely is "on line" to print via wifi. It has a horrible set up for the paper tray (I've almost broke it on multiple occasions), It's extremely loud, the ink doesn't last nearly as long as other products (and it rubs off of nice paper), it "thinks" for multiple minutes prior to actually printing (if it does print at all).....the list goes on and on. Had I not spent so much on it, I would have thrown it out the window or down the stairs on multiple occasions already. Do not waste your time on this!

Not what I thought it would be...

I bought this printer end of January this year, to replace an older printer. I have used this printer only two months. I am a small, small business and only print 20-25 pages a week. I have had to replace the black ink cartridge 4 times since middle of March. And the first two weeks of March I was not even in office. The color cartridges have all been replaced at least once in that time. I understand there were starter cartridges at purchase time, BUT FOUR extra large black cartridges??!! Ridiculous! I hate the printer and believe it to be an ink sucker and it did not state this in market materials. I am very disappointed and will not buy any other Epson products.

Perfect for us

We had an old printer that could never scan and the picture quality was marginal. We upgraded to our new Epson XP-820 at a very reasonable price. It does everything as advertised with easy to follow instructions. Photos came out beautifully. The wireless Airprint function was our main goal. We can print wirelessly from each of our phones, ipads and both of our computers. I am very pleased with this new all in one printer.

Nothing but frustration

Ridiculously complicated, none in our household is able to make this thing work for more than a couple days. Ink cartridges are poorly designed, won't print if one of them is out - yes not even black and white.

EPSON XP-820

The Epson XP-820 has been proven to be an excellent product. I sent one of my best images to two professional print firms. Comparing those results with a high quality XP-820 print of the same image leaves no doubt that the XP-820 delivers a print equal to or better than the comparison prints. The quiet operation is much appreciated. The exciting facts are that this may not be the highest quality printer in the Epson Printer line.

Wi-Fi setup challenging

Wi-Fi setup proves challenging.
Setup info was a little vague in a couple of areas.
After the 8th attempt at installing, finally figured out what the problem was.
