This printer is a little complex at first, but once you get used to it, its cool. Its very high tech and high end. A lot of unnecessary features that makes you feel like you got the Cadillac of printers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Printers are the greatest

I have been using Epson printers for over 10 years. I have found them to be the most reliable on the market for small printers. My last printer was an Artisan 810. I presently also own an XP610. My husband uses two workforce models in his home business.

Epson 820

In general I like the printer very much. In addition to the online manual I would have liked a printed version also. The paper trays in front are difficult to extract and the CD/DVD try keeps getting in the way.
The instructions on the paper which is black should have been printed in a different color. Since they are also black it is quite difficult to see them

slow setup

setup was slow and needed to put in wifi password twice, yes it was correct the first time.
it tried to update firm ware over wifi but failed had to us USB

my epson xp-820

I have been using my xp-820 for about two months. I have gotten great pictures from it. The only down side is that the amount of paper it holds in each tray is limited. Also, when I am printing from tray one, the paper sometimes jam. Usually from tray 2, I can print fine. I like Epson printers. I now own a wf-7620 and the xp-820, which I take with me, when I take pictures, print them, and sale them at family reunions and other events.

XP-820

I have owned many Epson printers, starting with the FX70, MX80 and on. This printer is smart and safe. The fact that the paper output tray is controlled by the printer is smart. It prints well on CDs. I had no trouble connecting it to my Wi-Fi. As far as that goes, I have had no trouble with it at all and I have had it for four months. Love it. I do wish it came with a manual though.

Just finished installing my new XP820 printer -- fairly easy do and no issues, except I would much prefer to have written instructions with pictures instead of just the pictures. I've printed a couple of things in black and in colour and they look great! I love this printer.
