finally found to perfect printer to print my labels on my dvds. I been searching for a while, and this printer is great! I love my photo and videos slideshows, and It was missing the labels , thank you, thank you.....

I used to always buy an Epson printer, for some reason I bought one from different company long time ago and had it ever since. Now back to Epson, and holy cats, is it amazing, not only easy to set up, which is always a hassle with various products, but very easy to do with this amazing printer. I can't say it loud enough how easy it was to unpack, to follow the easy instructions and to set up, it was so uneventful, so fantastic, I am thrilled, Epson is hands down the best printer for photo and other, it is simply amazing, enough said. Before I start to bore everyone, ha ha. :-)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clogged printer

I have owned this printer for over a year, I can't tell you how many times I have had to do a nozzle check, it keeps clogging. Yes I use the Epson ink in the XL, but no matter what at least every month the black ink clogs. Usually when I need something important to print. I have had Epson printers for at least 7 years, this is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Decision

A faithfull user of the 'smart' printer company...I gave in to the reputation of Epson and photo printer quality after my 'faithfull' printer faithfully died. :P
The XP-820 does it all. Very easy set-up. What can I say of the photo quality ?? Other printers can't touch this for sharpness and contrast. Of course the photo-black is there for that purpose. But at this price...excellent deal. Text printing is super clean and smudge proof. Glad I made the switch to Epson...from now on.

Printer Set-up

I was most impressed with the installation set up instructions with the XP-820 printer. The instructions were concise and had no glitches in accuracy. The process was intuitive, recognizing problems and setting out alternate courses of action, a very user friendly approach for novices. Have only used product on test basis to test features, but I am impressed at this point, both with the copies produced and ease of operation. Very surprised with the quality of the product considering that the price is more than reasonable.

My New Printer

So far so good. Have been using it for only a couple of days. Had a little problem setting it up, and found no instructions regarding the trays nor how to print envelopes. Solved with a call to Epson. Have not printed pictures yet. Seems reasonably fast. Feel that the trays are awfully flimsy--actually very cheaply made. Perhaps I will learn to love it, but it is not very substantial.
