Pro: This is a fine printer. Great pictures, fast output, relatively easy to set up (I had to download the up to date installer as the disk supplied would not work properly). Makes good airprints of documents and photos. I assume that the ink cartridges supplied with the printer were"demonstration" ink cartridges as they ran low rather quickly.
Con: This printer should come with a paper instruction manual or tree diagram that shows all of the feature and options available via the screen. It has many great features. With luck you stumble on them one by one when manipulating your way thru the set/set up screen. There likely some great features in there that I haven't found yet.

Seem to be very easy to operate.

I did as I was told to do and guess what. In a few minutes I was printing. The instructions were very easy to do and I was surprise when I was all done, in just a few minutes. The machine works
perfectly as far as I can see so far. The people I had talk to said the Epson XP-620 was a easy to use and great prints. What I have seen the people are not wrong. I am pleased with my decision and I am saying you can not wrong with a EPSON XP-620. Thanks :)

Printing Error
on April 21, 2015

Immediately upon installing the printer Purchased 9:30 a.m. connected 10:30 a.m., there was a ox4d printing error that would not allow me to proceed in installing the printer. After several attempts to unplug and plug, power off power on the printer finally started working and I was able to set it up and install the software and print a test page. Saving the box in the event I have to return it

I just purchased this printer and had my struggles getting it set up. I called customer support and Nick was fantastic and very helpful in getting me up and running. Customer support is key to a happy customer and this was outstanding. Thanks.

Another excellent Epson printer

I am an avid amateur nature photographer. For several years I have used Epson inkjet printers to print my photos. The output from all has been excellent.
I purchased the XP 620 as a replacement for my Epson Artisan 725 because although it was still very good the cost of ink for that model had become prohibitive.
Cons:
The setup instructions unneccesariy include intstructions for setting up the FAX on the XP 820. Even though they are clearly identified in boldface font as being for the XP 820 its insertiion in the setup for the XP 620 can be confusing.
Pros:
Just about everything else.
The output from the XP 620 is excellent. It exceeds my expectations.
I agree with others regarding the method of printing on CDs and DVDs in comparison to that used on earlier models. The method used is somewhat of a hassle and time consuming when doing several copies. However, the CD tray is much sturdier than in previous models which I appreciate. Earlier models though in some ways more convenient had a rather flimsy CD tray which was also difficult to acess. The possibilty of breakage was always present. Not so with the CD tray of the XP 620.
A FAX utility is not included which for me is a plus. I have never needed a FAX so often that having the capabilty immediately available was a necessity.

Horrible WiFi connectivity, horrible status

Most frustrating printer ever after 6 months +. "Network host EPSONFB blah blah blah is busy," when it is not. Sometimes (maybe always) will not print black/white when a color is low. Somehow the photo black is low even though I've never used it. "Unable to connect with the printer, will try again in 30 seconds" comes up SO often - then MAY decide to print again as long as 20 MINUTES after attempting to print. Will not wake the printer from sleep mode to print. So, what it the purpose of a sleep mode? Makes the user walk over there (a different floor in our house) to wake it up. Might as well simply shut down. No better performance after recent (2015 July) software upgrade.

It took me hours to set up this printer. You need to have better directions on your printed material.
Like push in the paper drawer and you should also explain what the paper output is and how it works.
