Difficult

I find this printer to be problematic. It is difficult to maintain a wireless connection to my devices. Suddenly stopped responding and took 2 hours to get it functional. Refused to recognize the password. I find this printer to be very user unfriendly and frustrating. Turns itself off occasionally even though sleep is not on. Can not depend on it to print important documents in a timely manner. There are better printers out there.
The good, it copies OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The printer does print. Unfortunately the design of the paper trays, dialog box and overall functional elements are not user friendly. If the paper output tray is even 1/8 inch in the machine won't print. The dialog box directions are not on a par with the competition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do you print a envelope?
The Step by Step instructions are not explanatory.

It's great BUT!

Using Epson printers for a long long time ... and the instructions are always very clear ... however ... finding where the output tray for this printer was stored was quite a challenge. NO picture of where it is or where it comes from made it challenging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My second Epson Printer

I recommend Epson printers to everyone that uses a printer. My first Epson was NX330 and it out perform all of my previous printers. After many years of use it is still performing. I just bought a Epson XP620 and now I have two quality printers to ensure my increased printing schedule is kept. One of the big benefits of both Epson printers is the long life of the ink cartridges.
This is really notice when printers are turned off and on frequently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Second One Is A Winner

My first unit failed right out of the box upon installation. Epson's customer service, via phone, stepped right up to the plate and shipped me another XP-620 via FedEx to Maui. This unit has been working beautifully and I couldn't be happier. Even though it's a noisy little bugger it gets the job done. I use it for my tropical photography business and it is awesome in the prints it produces. Beautiful colors and crisp images. I love this unit so much I even purchased a second one (still in the box) as a backup should Epson discontinue this model. I have not used the scanner yet so I hope it performs as well as the printer. The setup is easy and didn't take long. But don't go looking for a user's guide with the unit as everything is online. Some things take getting use to. So, give this model serious thought if you want beautiful photo prints.

A Bit Disappointed

While I am quite happy with my XP-620, one thing that I am not too thrilled about is that, if one of the color ink cartridges runs out of ink (as did the yellow one), I was unable to print even in black in white, although there was plenty of black ink remaining in both the regular and photo cartridges. I have never had that problem with any of the other printers (non-Epsons) I have owned over the years.
I purchased this printer because it was rated a "Best Buy" by Consumers Report. Wish I had known then what I know now.

I've never had a problem installing a printer before & I'm very surprised that with a high profile company like EPSON would allow this Epson Premium Printer XP-620 to be shipped without adequate instructions.
Also, as per Epson instructions, I shook the black ink cartridge, it leaked quite a bit.
Yes I am having a problem and I am debating returning this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
