Epson XP-620 Set Up

I can tell you guys have done this before. I am no techy, but the instructions for set up were flawless and easy for me. And if I can do it, anyone can. Thanks Epson for making my life easy.

My only complaint about this printer is that it is slow to actually start printing. Once it does though it's great. Great quality and perfect size.

The epson photo scanning is quite nice, I was enthralled while I used it. However, you must be careful when saving. It has a mind of its own and saves it into various catalogs. It's mostly my fault for not reading or paying attention to on-screen prompts. They (Epson People) should go back to the KISS rule. for us dummies.

INSTALL HARD

I just got the Epson XP 620 and it was hard to install the wirless feature. So far it is not working. Not being very smart about computers I need detailed instructions. The printer says that my wireless connection to my network is good, but the install disk says it is not connected.
The paper tray seems to be very flimsy. Hope I get it to work soon. I may have to call tech. support. Oh how I dread that.

Color cartridge ink disappears without usage

I purchased a pkg of color cartridges (3 color) on 3/20/15 from Staples. I did not use the cartridges for printing and at the end of April 2015 the message that those cartridges were empty and "replace cartridges appeared" without using.? How in the world could they deplete in that short a time? I use the printer for approx. 3 hours a day for non-business purposes as I am retired. Can I remove the cartridges during the hours it is not in use, cap them, place them in an upright position, until next usage and then replace them in the printer.and start printing again???

Works great, for a good price, however the replacement inks will cost more that a whole new printer. So it is disposable. That is shameful. I doubt this makes it in the review site.

Difficult to setup

I just brought my Epson home today and have spent 4 hours with the instructions but am in an endless loop of opening and shutting the Output drawer.
Sorry I didn't stick to a brand I know.
