very frustrated

Just trying to set up printer. the touchscreen is totally unreponsive. Have followed printed directions but the screen will not allow me to get to the wifi setup. It would only let me select the language but not scroll down for date and time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson should make it clear that this is not a touchscreen menu. I somehow got into the French language and had a heck of a time getting back to English. Also you should indicate which paper tray to pull out to catch your copies. I kept pulling out the bottom tray so of course it would not print. Hopefully my registration will show up on my printer soon. A side note--I had another printer that had touchscreen so Epson's printer was confusing to me. Wish me luck with my new Epson. Thanks.

problem with black ink

My printer is a little less than 6 months old and I am having trouble with it printing black ink. I've tried changing the cartridge and cleaning the print heads and I got one page with half of the lines printing in black and nothing again. I haven't had time to call anyone, but with a product that new, I would expect it to work longer.

If you get it working right, it's OK. I HATE this printer. I hate how the paper loads, the printing sucks, the user-friendliness is NIL.
Never ever would buy this again. Ever.

Upon starting my printer it went into a print mode and printed out at least 200 pages of garbage. As I write this I am afraid to use a printer that had such high recommendations.

Set-up went reasonably well - had to use the on-line driver download method to set up the printer because the computer I was using to run the set up does not have a DVD drive. The online set up worked well in the end, though there is one process step that will time out after 4 minutes (you do get a screen message that tells you this) so be sure you have all of your modem/router I.D. like network name(SSID), network key, and password written down ahead of time. It also helps to be familiar with how to navigate the printer touch screen display ahead of time as well. If the printer is on display in the store that might be a good opportunity to get familiar with the printer menus and touchscreen navigation. Too early to comment on the printer function, print quality, ink usage, etc., but I am hopeful. Will update this review after getting in some good use out of the printer over a week or so of use.

Needed a new printer, as I was having problems with the old one. Needed one to simply print out different documents. Looked at all the printers available at the store and decided on the XP620. It has all the requirements that I needed, copy, print, scan. Glad I bought this printer.
