This printer has some fantastic high tech features. The WiFi web features, the multiple paper trays and smart phone support are great. I had an issue with the software installation, it installed 2 printers that seemed to cause a conflict. Deleting them and re-installing the downloaded drivers resolved this, but only after several failed attempts to print my first photo. When printing now, Windows 8.1 reports that the print fails, even though the job does complete. Other than that minor glitch, it is performing flawlessly. The photo quality is superb in standard print mode on Epson Glossy 4x6 photo paper. Setting up the Email print with Epson Connect was straightforward and simple. I set mine up to scan to Google Drive in less than 5 minutes. After comparing this unit with other offerings from different manufacturers, I think I have made a solid choice and am very happy overall with this slick little printer.

The illustrations do not clearly show the location of the Output tray and when to pull it out.
The networking question is confusing to a home user
Have not found the specs for paper that can be used.

They want to sell ink

I have put at least 4 sets of OEM ink cartridges in this piece of work and printed maybe 20 photos and 200 text pages. About half the time the printer says it won't recognize the cartridge, even though it is Epson and even though it is mostly full. When I can get it to recognize the cartridges the only work for a couple days then some of the colors stop working. I run the print head clean routine about a half dozen to ten times, and by then the cartridge is empty. Will never buy another thing that says Epson on it.

This Epson printer is awesome! I don't have to feed in 1 sheet at a time; I can print on both sides so I use less trees; I can scan and email; I can print from my phone; AND it prints exceptional quality photos! I also like that the I can use every drop of ink as the color cartridges are separate. This is the 2nd Epson I've owned and I've yet to experience a jam. The 1st is 5 years old and still performing great.

Epson Expression Premium XP-620

Print quality is unbeatable. Switching from regular printing to CD Print is time consuming due to switching to different plates and programming the printer. Scanning is perfect. Ink cartridges are expensive. Instructions imply that you can print approximately 200 pages w/color print however, l only get 50 to 75 sheets.

My XP-620 is an awesome piece of technology. It integrates well with my computer (currently a Mac). As soon as I turn it on it brings my computer out of sleep mode. It produces great two side copies effortlessly. I have never had the paper jam when it is turning the paper over and the color reproduction is great. It creates pdfs and e-mail attachments on the fly as it scans rather quickly. It has separate cartridges for each ink color, which is way more efficient than having just two and the ink does not seem to gum up the print heads if you do not use the printer for a while. I particularly like the fact that when you open the printer you can see and access just about everything inside, which is great if you are like me and fix things yourself. I wish more printers were like this.

Ink monitor flawed

Epson XP-610 Software refuses to allow full usage of ink cartridge. I should be allowed to print until the text slips even it destroys the printer, I bought the thing. I am allowed to purchase another brand since Epson has no respect for me.
