I found that it was pretty is to hookup with a USB cord and also to set it up as wireless. Just not sure how long this starter ink will last. The copy and printing features are also easy to use.

The paper trays seem too complicated for the soft ware. I don't like having to raise the panel and pull out the output tray every time. I just haven't been very impressed with it.

Not that easy

I find it very frustrating -- especially changing the ink. You must respond to all the printed messages before the printer accepts the ink. The cartridges are hard to remove. The paper tray is difficult to remove and return. There are too many messages on the printer. I just want to give a command and have the printer print; I don't want to go through all the words.
The print quality is good but it uses a lot of ink.

Worst Epson printer I have ever owned
on November 10, 2015

I have been a dedicated Epson owner for decades. The photo quality and reliability were so impressive, I never dreamed of replacing an older model with another brand. Several months ago I bought this model printer because my older Epson finally quit on me. I'd had it for years, and printed thousands of photo images, so this wasn't unexpected. I needed something quickly to print my kids school work. I bought the 620 because it was an Epson. It was cheap, but I wasn't looking to print anything other than school reports and maybe some images on regular paper for the kids.
This printer has been nothing but trouble. Randomly, our devices see the printer than don't see it. The printer says it's printing, the computer thinks it's printing, it sits there making an occasional sound, but NOT printing anything. The paper jams extremely often. I have frequently needed to take the document to a neighbor's house to print. When it is working, it burns through ink faster than any other Epson I have ever owned. Quite a feat considering most of the material is black and white. And I can't count how many times I have tried to print a specific size and the printer refuses to print my 4x6 because the 8.5x11 feeder is out of paper and vice versa. I have followed all the online support tutorials, message boards, you name it. This printer is headed for the dump today. I'm researching other brands. It kills me. I've always loved being able to rely on Epson.

i have never printed a color print yet I have to keep replacing the colored cartridges to keep printing. I even set it to print black and white and it still uses color ink. Why is that? And why does it have 2 black cartridges - one photo black and one regular black. Same thing. I never print photos yet now I can't finish printing because it's out of photo black. You get what you pay for.

was disappointed right off the bat. the ink set up is shoddy, took a few installs to get it right, the printer seems cheap compared to my 710, still have not got the paper to print out, will try again tomorrow, I have been a faithful Epson fan for decades and this 620 has allot to improve on, the ink cartridges are not a sound as the cartridges on the 710, have had 3 710's love it. I might return this and get the 820, I like the 6 cartridge and this has the 5 - 2 black cartridges, the ink tray seems like it is going to break easy after a few ins and outs. not as sturdy as past printers. Sorry Epson this one seems to be a step backwards.

I am rather dissappointed with this item. When I tried to install the ink, I received an error message that one of the cartridges needed to be replaced - and thus I was unable to use the printer that I had just purchased. I tried another cartridge bought one day earlier, with the same error message appearing, and still no ablity to print or copy.
I bought this new printer because my Epson XP800, that was only used for 13 months, was having the same error problem with the black printer cartridge. I am losing my confidence in both the quality of the very expensive Epson ink and the printers themsleves!
