I find this product to be very user unfriendly. The rate of Ink useage, and the front panel is hard to use. I only use it for a few applications

XP-620 purchased towards the end of product life

Got a great deal on this XP-620 direct from Epson. Now, out of stock. XP-630 replaces it. Setup was easy considering the amount of things to configure. I used the supplied CD to make sure to have the latest software. A firmware check and update went flawlessly. Wireless network setup was easy and worked the first time. I did setup with Epson's e-mail server so the printer would have its own e-mail address. When I tested it with an e-mail with text and an embedded photo, I was pleasantly surprised to find the text on plain letter paper and the photo on 4x6 photo paper. It is a bit noisy in operation, and I expected a motorized output tray from the online video I saw before I purchased the printer, but the XP-620 output tray is manual. Haven't printed CD/DVDs yet, but from my previous experience with an Epson RX-580 and an R-280, it should be easy. Five stars from me for an unbeatable price, free shipping, and a rich feature set.

Works quite well for scanning, printing on DVDs, and all around general printing. Photos come out almost as good as store bought.

XP 620 small-in-one printer

This is the second small in one Epson printer I have owned. I love the quality of photos it produces and the two sided printing feature.
However, just as the last one I had, after producing photos (about 3 a week)for about 6 months, when any of the inks are close to depletion, the photos come out with lines or smudges in them and I need to clean the print heads. This is an annoying happening since it ruins the photos and they have to be reprinted after I change the ink. I am ready to return this to the store. This is the same reason I stopped using my last all-in-one and upgraded to this model. Thought that bug may have been worked out by Epson already.

Very good printer

This is a very good printer. I especially like the double side printing. The only downside is the VERY EXPENSIVE toner if you buy directly from Epson.
I don't understand how I can buy toner from a 3rd party company for 15% of the cost.
