I was really concerned when my HP Photosmart started being totally unreliable (after about 6 years). I really like having separate cartridges of color especially being able to use a photo black with magenta, cyan and yellow... makes a difference in the crispness of photos... and there it was...!!! The cartridges for paper loading are cumbersome at first, but, just takes a little time to get used to doing things a different way. All in all, an exellent printer with a very small footprint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, I am pleased with this machine. I use it mainly for printing. Have printed a few cards and the colors are very good. I have not found a way to print envelopes and could not find assistance online.

xp-620 the worst

Epson printers I've had for years had had no problem, but with today is the second XP -620 that it breaks in less than a month

Very Preliminary Opinion

CD was not recognized by my computer. Eventually had to call for help. The result was very positive. I was up and running. I could not scan to the computer, so I thought, as I was trying to do so from the printer screen. It kept showing that I was not connected to my computer. I called the Tech again and found out that I had to use the icons on my startup screen which at first were hard to see because of my light colored background picture. Once I worked through that problem with the Tech I found that all my scans were in a picture file on my computer. At this point I am very satisfied with the printer AND the Technicians. I will have a followup opinion if necessary, at a later date.

Great machine. I have scanned, printed and copied, it does a great job. There are 2 trays, which is nice, don't have to be changing from plain paper to photo paper. I'm still learning the features. So more advanced than my other Epson. Would recommend this printer.

So Easy

I've only printed the test page, but I'm already impressed that everything worked the first time I tried it. Usually I expect hours of frustration when I install or set up some type of equipment, but this was easy to install, and everything worked just as it should.
