Good for Now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this gas stove/oven as part of a builder package and so far have been pleased with its performance on the occasions we have used it. One item we didn't apppreciate is that there is no temperature indicator to show the actual oven temperature, so you need to trust that it has actually reached your preset cooking temp. Overall however, it looks and operates fine for the first month. The review and performance may change over time as we have more oppertunity to use it.

Beautiful gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new home was outfitted with Frigidaire Professional Series. The gas range is awesome, 4 burners of various sizes and a center griddle. So easy to use! The oven is both standard bake and convection. Love it!

Stove not bad but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a spec home that had this stove in it and it’s a pretty good product here however, it was converted to propane. Most of the on heat leaks out of the top gridle eye. The kitchen gets so hot I hate to use the oven. Manual said it’s design to do this. I think it’s not a great design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bxthay54, I know how frustrating it can be to adjust to a new appliance. When I switched from electric to gas, I was advised to always use the overhead exhaust when using the oven (making sure the nearest window was cracked for positive air flow) to help dissipate the heat generated. The oven vent is located under the backguard in the rear of the cooktop. When the oven is on, warm air passes through this vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results. While the oven is in operation, it is normal for steam or moisture to appear near the vent. Your range should have been converted to the gas selection appropriate for your home.
