Temperature controls wipe off
on October 31, 2016

We bought this cooker because of the 'professional' build quality claimed and because we want a cooker to last. Within a few months the lettering for the temperature control have started to wipe off, as they are just transferres on top of the stainless steel. We have not used anything abrasive when cleaning but we have used baby oil on the stainless steel to prevent it from rusting as we live in the tropics. Once the lettering is gone we will have no idea what temperature the oven is set to. Not professional quality at all.

Not happy

Bought this series stove and dishwasher . The stove temp plug in does not work! It takes multiple frustrating attempts to set timer or clock with touch screen ! And my letters have almost all disappeared around knobs. Was so excited and worked so hard for these products to only have been disappointed.

Awful Product

I have had this range for a little over a year. My oven has completed shut down twice, had one service call and now have to call for a second. The gas burner works but the oven only preheats/works after about the 10th try and now doesn't work at all. Also, I cleaned the dials and the decals rubbed off so I used a sharpie to write in the temperatures. Guess that doesn't matter now that the oven doesn't work at all. Terrible product; piece of junk. Time to find a new brand.

Great stove, useless timer
on November 12, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stove. Works beautifully, and has great styling. While I have absolutely NO REGRETS about buying it, I have to say that the timer is useless. My previous stove had a loud, insistent timer that I could hear from another room. This one, in contrast, beeps so quietly and at such long intervals, that I have already overcooked eggs I was boiling on the stove top. I think I am going to have to buy a separate timer, and, quite frankly, I think Frigidaire should reimburse their customers for this. I can't understand how such a wonderful stove could have this significant design flaw.

Needed service 4 times in first year so far...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price (more expensive than comparable models) I expected more. I bought this oven online based on looks, features, and because I liked the fact that it had knobs for the oven instead of an electronic screen. But I mistakenly thought the knobs were mechanical like a commercial gas oven. They are not.
This range will disappoint you if you think that "Professional" means commercial quality. It is not. It is as flimsy as the non-Professional line. The lower storage door is so poorly made that it has hung crooked from day one. It is flimsy, lightweight, does not fit properly despite 4 different servicemen trying, and useless to store anything. The front window has vents above it that if, God-forbid, you should spill anything, you will never be able to clean between the glass. We have been very careful, but today I noticed another problem: dust gets down those vents and there are dustwebs in-between the glass! How in the world can it be cleaned?
Back to the oven knobs up on top. They are not mechanical, but electronic, and connected to a printed circuit brain. If I had know that in the beginning, I would have never purchased this range. The heat rises from the burners and subjects the controls, and the timer module, to intense heat - a very poorly engineered design.
Today was the fourth time a serviceman came out. They have replaced the convection fan 3 times already. Today, he left without repairing the oven because he did not have the timer module, a printed circuit "brain" that controls the oven. He'll be back out, but I am afraid that because of the way the range is designed it will only happen again. How much will this white elephant cost us after the warranty runs out? Talk about built-in obsolescence!
And as others have noted, the timer brain is difficult to use and requires you to tap it or move your fingers around more than once to get it to work - which is a pain. For such an expensive range, it should be instantaneous.
For the money, there are far better choices out there, including Chinese-made actual commercial gas ranges that have true mechanical controls and are far sturdier. And Frigidaire, why not make a sturdy oven without these design flaws. Folks like me are certainly willing to pay more. Why make a flimsy product that requires endless servicing?

The knob sticklers came off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where can I buy replacement knob stickers?? They came off, I only cleaned with damp cloth, otherwise I love my gas range. Also please recommend a good cleaner for the black enamel stove top.
Response from frigidaire.comBy Briana, Online Outreach Specialist , March 15, 2019
Hello, Nora Mexicana! Thank you for your review. We would recommend, routinely cleaning the cooktop with a clean, damp cloth and wipe dry to avoid scratches. The labels on your model are apart of the control panel itself. Should you need further assistance, feel free to contact us at 1-888-203-1389 Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8:00 pm EST. ~Briana

Knob get hot when oven is on
on June 23, 2019
Posted by: VRG1
I got this range on Friday and used it for 1st time today (Sunday). I'm thinking of sending it back. I cooked dinner in oven at 450 degrees. Wanted to heat water for pasta and when I turned the knob for the stove it was hot to the touch. I had to use a towel to turn the knob. Tried other 3 knobs and they were also hot. Looked in manual and it does say that the heat from oven sometimes rises from oven and makes knobs hot. I think this is a poor design and I shouldn't have to worry about burning my fingers on the knobs when the oven is on.
The range is beautiful and I was excited about getting it. I chose the Professional line because it was the only range that didn't have the red line on the knobs. But am disappointed with it after using it.
