[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this model when we remodeled our kitchen. Loved the design. We keep getting an F16 Code on it and having to reset it. When doing any kind of cooking in the oven there is a humming sound the whole time.. Not quite at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Kim0216, thank you for sharing your concerns with us concerning your range. I certainly hate to hear that your oven is not working properly. Typically when a range displays such a “F16” error code this indicates that the appliance is experiencing a communication error between the control boards. I would strongly suggest that you either unplug or turn the circuit breaker off to the range for five to ten minutes. This will allow the appliance to reset completely. If this continues you will need to contact a service professional in your area to do a complete diagnoses on the range. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

Mixed Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The anti-tip device is place so far out from the wall that the range does not sit back against the wall, but leaves a 2-3 inch gap. Also, any one with hearing issues will never hear the chime of the timer. Very quiet to say the least and would never be heard if you are out of the kitchen

The placement of the anti-tip device can be either connected to the wall or the floor, depending upon your space needs. Needs Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been cooking on this range for two months. There is no way to clean out the inevitable grease accumulation inside the vertical/upright back section of the range. If I try to get into the open holes there is a big risk of slicing my finger on the extremely sharp edges. There should be a much better way to keep the range clean.
Also, the front knobs should have a lock so they do not move accidently when leaning into the front of the range to clean the back of the range. The gas comes on.
The finish/or lack of finish on the grids make the range difficult to keep clean.
The alarm on the timer isn't loud enough.
It cooks great!

Back too the drawing board

We bought this range for our rental cottage renovation ( as well as the matching OTR microwave the stove is a beauty to look at. The purchase of this stove was based on many positive ratings from professional consumer reviews. I like that there is not a lot of computer gadgetry and the knobs are 'old school'. It will be used buy many folks so the simpler the better. I used it myself the other night ( maiden voyage for this appliance) I had no issue with the timer sound level however the range is Loud.! I mean aircraft loud...now I am comparing this item to a 14 year old Range I have at home which has a single fan convection and is a tank of an appliance:) so maybe modern stoves are LOUDER. Mine has fans for cool down and she can be a bit raucous but not obnoxious loud like The Frigidaire. There is a design flaw where the glass cooktop meets the stainless. If you own one go and feel the gap at the front. The two sides and back are flush to the glass but not the front. My concern is spillovers will run into the gap and down into the electrical causing a short. I have checked this out on the same model in a few stores and the gap is consistent so Frigidaire needs to fix this. Check other similar stoves most have a gasket at this point. I. This range can't hold a candle to my old range so I've had it warranted for the next five years. I hope it lives up to those stellar reviews...oh yeah where is the broiler pan? Was told by an appliance sales person they are not included any more because people tend to KEEP the one

Gorgeous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range looks great in our kitchen. The whole layout and quality of the knobs and handles is amazing. The convection bake/roast is great for chicken breasts.
It does seem like it takes forever to preheat. Much longer than our previous (and junkier) stove. The burners also take forever to heat up. As long as you have some patience, the extra time is worth the looks :p
Only other complaint is the timers are useless. You can't hear them AT ALL. We just use our microwave timer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this range four our new kitchen. We do like the unit. The only things I have to complain about or am disappointed with are: the knobs turn on way to easy. They are very loose and you do not have a safety feature on them, for example, have to push the knob in before you turn, possible solution. Also the top of the stove discolors very easily. I cook a lot and it is discoloring pretty good. The finish also scratches pretty easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
