Good Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased as part of our new Frigidaire Professional line of products. The oven works very well. My concern with this product is the control knobs mounted on the front. **They are perfectly placed where I would want them but very sensitive. It only takes a slight touch to turn on the gas. We find ourselves constantly checking to see if the gas is on. ** Luckily there are no children or elderly persons in the home and we are very conscious of the issue. My minor issue is that the oven did not come with a broiler pan. Every oven I purchased in the past had a broiler pan included. Overall we are very happy with the product.

Nice, but scratches way too easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for cooking and looked very nice, but unfortunately it scratches SUPER easy. I was using a wet microfiber cloth and managed to put several scratches in it :( For the money I'm disappointed it's not durable enough to visually withstand a gentle cleaning. I've been using this stove for less than a month now. It scares me to imagine how poor it's going to look after a year or two of use. Apparently I need to stop cleaning it or maybe switch to some crazy chemicals?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am dismayed to hear of your cleaning experience with your range, alexknelson. The cleaning instructions for your range are listed on pages 29 and 30 in your Owner’s Manual. As a microfiber cloth does not have any content that would cause such deep scratching, perhaps there was some sort of residue on the cloth that contributed to this result. Clean the stainless with warm soapy water using a clean sponge or cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use any store bought cleaners like stainless steel cleaners or any other types of cleaners containing any abrasive, chlorides, chlorine, or ammonia. It is recommended to use mild dish soap and water or a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. Super range with everything you Need

The oven preheats in no time as does the stove top elements. The oven temperature is acturate and the sliding rack is wonderful. The dual convention fans are wonderful and all levels in the oven have even heating. We couldn’t be happier.

Convection unit pathetic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Convection is very anemic. I am a pastry chef, I thought convection strength in this unit would be like commercial ranges, was I wrong. Instead of a hurricane wind strength, this unit functions like a feeble gasp.
Range looks good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my oven for about two months and it’s has so many features for cooking that allow you to be very creative in the kitchen. There are different size burns for all your needs. Small buzzing sound while baking sometimes is the only negative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m happy with this item except for the knobs on the front of the range. They are too easily turned on by just brushing up against them. I find myself constantly checking them to make sure that the gas hasn’t accidentally been turned on.
