We purchased this with all of the matching items 6 months ago. The front knobs are really easy for a toddler to reach, the top gas racks always need scrubbed, but those things may not be the makers fault. However, the stove top under the racks is stainless steel, they stain very easily and if you wipe with a paper towel they will scratch very badly. The entire stove will scratch easily, use a soft rag and foam window cleaner to clean. I would never buy this again because due to how easily scratched.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

as close to a professional stove you can get

Wish the timer was louder but I can live with that. cleaning is a challenge but I am looking for a great cleaner that won't scratched the unit. Overall the best thing I did in purchasing the stove.
