Cooks to perfection!

The grates are heavy duty. Cleanup is easy especially with boil overs. Each burner provides a different speed from simmer to fast boil and boy is the fast boil fast! The five burners are very handy when cooking for a crowd. So far I have only cooked a pie, cookies and a cake in the oven and all turned out perfectly and according to the recipes. It shows that the calibration of the oven is spot on. I also like the storage drawer. Not many ranges provide this important feature especially required when your kitchen is short on storage. I have a newly renovated kitchen with all Frigidaire appliances. It all looks great.

I purchased this stove a few months ago and I could not be more pleased. I have never had a talent baking cookies, cakes, etc. but I have been having incredible and delicious luck with this oven!
It's is great for roasting and the variety of size on the stovetop can fit several pots and pans at once so I can cook up a storm.
The only set back is that I wish there was more information on how to use the Convection Oven feature as I have very limited experience and feel as though I am missing out.

Hello Noelleigh, thank you for sharing your review with us concerning your new range. It is so exciting to hear that you are enjoying your oven. Personally, I love the convection oven. A convection oven has a fan and exhaust system that a regular oven does not. The fan and exhaust help blow hot oven air over and around the food, then vent it back out. As a result, this hot air surrounds the food so that it cooks evenly and more quickly. If you've decided to use the convection setting, here are a few things to keep in mind: Lower the temperature by about 25°F, check foods earlier than you would typically tend to and make sure that the air can circulate well over the food. Don't be afraid of your convection oven — embrace this great feature! ~Jennifer

Contemporary Look!

We bought this oven a few months ago...upgraded to the professional...fit the look of our remodel...decided to treat ourselves! So far we have been pleased with performance....only cons ...preheat temperature is not visible so had to purchase a inside temperature gauge so we could tell the temperature status...also the bell is not loud enough when oven is preheated and ready to go if in another room...had to keep checking....also cleanup of top required when cooking otherwise outline of spot still visible when cleaned...example acid in tomatoe sauce caused spotting on stainless steel finish....oven liner not permitted in this oven...makes cleanup of spills harder!

Beware the knobs!

I am overall very happy with my purchase, but there are 2 things that have disturbed me greatly.
1) the front knobs can easily unlock. Both my cleaning service and myself have accidently shifted a knob from the off position to just before lite marker, leaving the gas to escape without hearing the click of the igniter. I had to push harder on my previous stoves to turn them on.
2) the interior paint in the oven is of poor quality. The first time my husband went to put an oven rack in, it just peeled off where he touched it with the rack. I have yet to move them again, but will have to soon.

As stated earlier, the timer is quite wimpy, but I use my phone as a back-up, not a major issue.
It does bake well, and I am otherwise happy with the burners.
