REMOVING THE RACK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried to remove the easy glide oven to no avail. I am afraid to leave in oven to clean in fear it will ruin the rack. The temperature control in the oven is below what it is set for, by about 50 degrees. It is a nice looking design but has flaws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AMAG, thank you for advising of your experiences with your new range. Regretfully, my research using your email address failed to link to any consumer account. I know that taking out the easy glide racks can be frustrating, page 13 in your Owner’s Manual has the directions for removing them. If you feel the oven may be too hot or too cold at the programmed temperature, Page 25 in your Owner’s Manual has the instructions for adjusting the oven temperature. I hope this helped! Nice product...but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our stove in November 2017 and are generally happy with our purchase. The only thing is the finish on the burner grates scratches off easily when you put a pot or pan on them and it ruins the appearance of the stove. Also, the stainless steel area around the burners has turned brown. Although the general appearance of the stove is nice, these issues make it look worn after only a few months of use.

Good Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the large cooking surface. I can fit two large skillets/pans front to back on either left or right side of the the range top. The center oval burner offers lots of options especially with a sole center burner function.
So far, the oven bakes evenly and well. I have not used the convection feature yet. I love the rack that glides out which makes for an easier, safer baking/roasting process.
My only complaint is the timers--they give only a most quiet ding when they go off. You can barely hear it standing next to the stove let alone in another room or over loud talking--such as when entertaining guests. I use timers quite a bit so I had to buy two separate kitchen timers.
Clean up of the working surfaces has been easy and I have not had any problems so far. I have only had the stove for a month. To date, I am happy with the purchase. I have a Frigidaire brand refrigerator that I have success with for years.

Love the look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only cooked on this a few times but seems like the flame does not reduce low enough when you change the temperature to low, it still cooks too hot. Is there a way to adjust the flame? I am putting yes to recommend but with reservations.
