Great Oven, but scratches easily

We just renovated our entire kitchen and bought the entire Frigidaire Professional Line. Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave and oven. Love this oven, especially the grill in the middle, which I use often. Cleanup is pretty easy, too. However, the range scratches way to easily, IMO. I followed the manual's cleanup guide, no harsh abrasives, just plain soap and water and it still scratches no matter what. I am so afraid to clean it now because it just seems to scratch. Oh, boy.

Oh no, please help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really haven't even gotten to use the oven yet, I read advice here to season the griddle, to help with sticking, and under grates, to prevent rusting. The griddle worked great, however, following the directions exactly, I now have burned on grease stains on the top of my grates and, the rubber tabs on the bottom are falling out. I'm so upset! As I've said, I've not even used the stove yet! Can I use a steel wool soap pad to try and remove the stains? Thanks!

Sleek and high quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a 40" dual fuel range and really looking for a range with five burners and a griddle feature. I looked around and compared a lot before i decided on this Frigidaire Professional 30" gas range with a two sidwd griddle. We are very happy with the sleek look, the fifth burner, the sliding oven rack and the storage drawer. I hosted Thanksgiving for 45 people a week afterwards. Everything turned out beautifully. I like the thermometer probe. Looking forward to many happy meals with our new stove!

STOVE WON'T TURN OFF!

Has anyone had this problem? We made cookies this past weekend and when finished back turned off the oven. A few hours later I came back to the oven and found that it was still very warm. The oven was turned off but it was still hot. Whe I woke up Sunday morning it was still hot. I turned the oven back on to 350 degree for about 15 minutes then turned it off and it cooled down finally. Anyone ever have this problem? Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my microwave to be repaired, its been 3 weeks now. Not having high hopes for my Professional line of Frigidaire. Let's not forget the refrigerator which I also had replaced for another model because the F model was too loud.

Oven does not work

I purchased this oven in November and 7 months later I cannot get anyone to get the oven fixed. The oven has NEVER worked a single day.

Replacing with a GE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with a newly remodeled house we bought one year ago. After two disappointing Thanksgiving dinners, we are swapping it out for a GE Cafe. The dial controls have been infinaltely frustrating and confusing. Preheat? No preheat? Broiling requires an advanced degree in engineering. The timers are lame. The middle griddle burner was useless in making pancakes. And I discovered I really hate baking with gas. I’ve been baking for decades and we had the toughest pie crusts ever this year, not to mention the pies did not bake evenly. Total disappointment. Replacing it with a GE, a brand I chose for my last house and was so easy to use with its intuitive control panel. Cannot wait to get this out of my kitchen.

Warmer and Timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a month ago. Loved the looks. 2 things that I don’t like and remains problematic are as follows: 1. The warmer section either does not work or it takes a whole day to warm up or I am doing something wrong. Other reviewers also noted this issue. 2. The dummy dual TIMER should be tied to the range oven like the previous model. What is the use of a timer if it does not stop the oven function? (The timer beep is not even loud enough to hear it)

Thank you for your feedback! Reviews like yours are very valuable to our design teams. The warmer zone on your cooktop should heat up to a preset temperature once the knob is turned to the "on" position, and can be used immediately. It should keep hot cooked foods at serving temperature. The element will not glow, but the hot surface indicator will remain on until it is cool enough to touch. The minute timers on the display can be used independently of oven function, so they can also time cooking food on the burners and baking time can be added if needed without having to reset the oven.
