What an AWESOME range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For anyone that loves to cook this range is for you. The burner height is perfect to get the right flame under the pans, the oven heats quickly and has a bonus fast preheated also. EasyMeasure conversion to propane (orifices included, no need to buy anything additional). The oven heats evenly (I had placed multiple thermometers in different areas to test for calibration). Calibrating the oven temp was easy (usually there is no need if using natural gas as the oven is already recalibrated). The convection option produces marvelous results. Every home should have one of these.

Love this Range!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve looked at probably every gas range on the market. I didn’t want to break the bank, but wanted to high-end quality stove. This one delivers! The top is easy to clean, the oven works so efficiently, it makes all my baking super easy. Love the Griddle too!!Highly recommend this range!

Why would you not have one? Poor design. No temperature indication of oven. Locks out of menu for some reason.

Disappointed - Main Burner failure

We purchased this on 3/20/17. We have been frustrated with a couple features but nothing to justify putting a service request. Last week the main burner has stopped working. We read the warranty and realized that this unit only has 1 year. We were willing to pay the ticket price for "professional series" because we believed the reviews. Now we are sweating to find out how much it will cost to fix the main burner. Our last stove was over 20 years old and still worked. We replaced it to get something more modern/more features. Huge regrets with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought our stove in June and have mostly loved it ever since then. The only problems are that when the oven-related fan comes on, there is an incessant buzzing that we cannot figure out until the fan goes off. It seems to be centered in the stove top and I believe it may be the little round parts that go on the burners as I've adjusted them from time to time and the vibration noise ceases for a bit. Anyway, it's a great stove except for how noisy it is. One other thing that catches my attention is how stains build up around the burners; very difficult to clean.

Love it but Just one problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m learning to love this update has range. The main problem I’m having seems to me to be serious and one the manufacturer should address. It’s a problem with the control knobs. They move so easily that if I lean against the range it turns the control enough to release gas. I have cabinets next to and above the range, if I reach up and happen to lean against the range it moves the knobs enough to release gas

It's beautiful but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed this last month during a major kitchen remodel. Got all matching appliances from this collection and they look fabulous.
However, I have serious issues with the range.
1- The convection fan is LOUD! It's louder than my dishwasher. It comes on even when I'm not using convection bake - and it cycles off and on at weird intervals, like for a few seconds at a time. This is not my 1st convection oven so I do have a comparison to go by.

2-If I use the Powerplus preheat, the preheat light goes off and signals that the oven has reached the correct temperature, but then if I switch the dial over to regular bake, the preheat light comes back on as if the oven is not at the correct temp. Now why would that be ? It's either 350 or not.
3-There is a second fan at the top front of the oven that vents warm air back into the room. It's not always on and I'm not sure what causes it to engage. Looks like I won't be using the oven all summer if that's what's happening. And add this fan noise to the convection fan noise and it's a real treat.
So far, these are my complaints - but they are enough to make me wish I hadn't purchased this appliance. So other than being a beautiful group I'm not overly impressed. I am satisfied with the other Frigidaire appliances I've purchased so do still recommend the brand, just not this particular item.

The Power Plus Preheat feature uses the convection fan to quickly bring the oven up to the set temperature. This feature is only available for convection bake. For regular baking the convection fan will turn off and the baking element will then reach the desired temperature for baking. Hopefully, this helps. Love my Flattop
