Purchased this oven 2.5 years ago. Front panel is dead, tried numerous things to revive. Owned microwaves for over 40 years with no problems until I bought this expensive now worthless microwave oven. Not impressed!

Door Handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pieces that attach the handle to the door are made of plastic. Probably because of heat, they become brittle and break. Not what one expects from a high-end appliance. Where can these parts be ordered from?

Only had 2 years and now malfunctioning. Only used convection cooking once because it did notcook that well.

Broken Handle

We purchased this microwave 1.5 years ago during a kitchen renovation along with all the other appliances in the Frigidaire pro series. As others have stated the pieces that attach the handle to the door are made of plastic and fell apart very easily, maybe from the heat. This isn’t what one expects when buying a microwave at this price. We will not be recommending this series of appliances to friends. Feeling disappointed

Expensive machine that only lasts 2 years

Bought over range microwave as part of complete kitchen set. Loved it for 2 years, then key pad went out with error code E-11. Luckily had extended warranty so no cost to fix this time, but repairman said it will probably only last another 2 years because of faulty design of power cable in door. After waiting a month for the back ordered part because all of us are experiencing this problem, the wrong main control board was sent and I have to wait even longer with a house full of guests coming next week. Even after repaired, I will only use this microwave in the future for exhaust fan, overhead light and timer because opening and shutting the door will eventually cut the wires again. Useless as a microwave, although a very nice kitchen ornament.

Abysmal product design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased entire kitchen of high end Frigidaire "professional" line with the understanding I was investing in a product that would serve my needs with for a long time. In my experience even an inexpensive microwave will last a good 5 years without issue. However, this microwave failed in the when the stainless steel handle assembly cracked and fell off the mircrowave due to some plastic internal supports. The purchase was made 1.2 years ago, so the device was off warranty and the cost of the replacement handle assembly (190USD) is half the price of a new microwave I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality and will not be purchasing your brand in the future.

Keypad broke already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The left side of the keypad doesn’t work after less than 2 months of use. Disappointing. The aesthetics of the microwave are great but I would think this line of Fridgidaire shouldn’t have issues this soon after installation.

Microwave doesn't work anymore

I have had this microwave since January of 2017. Use it maybe a few times a day. It stopped working and has a code E-11. My appliance guy looked up the code and said they discontinued the part. I am very disappointed that Fridgidaire has discontinued the part for a microwave that is still being sold.
