I'm very pleased with all the appliances (range, dishwasher, and refrigerator and microwave). It was a good deal and the appliances have exceeded my expectation. I definitely recommend.

Modern look and feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new microwave has a professional, clean look. It has a number of features that are useful for cooking, including the conventional cooking setting. If there is an issue it is the timer button. As it is operated by touch, it requires that you press it hard in exactly the right spot for the timer to operate. On the other hand, just a light touch of the cooking time buttons puts time in the cooking time window, so you have to be careful when you cook something that you cancel that accidental number there or you might cook something 10 or 100 times longer than intended, or it just might start cooking for 5 minutes with nothing in the microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once installed, we had an issue with it just stopping (not blowing the breaker) just stopping a few seconds after it started.
We called the service dept. they sent a service guy out...he had no clue why it kept stopping, so he called Fridgidaire.
A week later the service guy came back. Opened the side panel and put in a piece of tinfoil. Apparently, the head service dept of Fridgidaire said that was the fix.
I am a little concerned that we will have more issues down the road...and how is that covered under warranty?

I knew going in that my choice would be Frigidaire...other manufacturers frankly failed me in the past. I thought I'd buy an entry level model but my local retailer had such a great deal on your top-of-the-line that it was the obvious choice. Everyone who sees this thing agrees. Some are out-and-out jealous!
