Awful

I had to replace the door (keypad issues) two times before I finally received a brand new microwave. Then about a year after having my replacement microwave the plastic component that supports the microwave dish started to melt. I also had several issues with my refrigerator that was part of this professional series also junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2 Replacements and another goes out

We changed all of our applications to Frigidaire Gallery products and have nothing but problems with this microwave. We had to replace the first one within 3 months because the heating coil went out. Now a year and a half later on our second the control board has gone out. After hearing all the reviews about frigidaire I was confident we had made a good purchase, I'm sadly to say I am highly dissatisfied and will not continue to buy any frigidaire product.

Steam & Moisture

Less than a month old. Microwave fills with steam and condensation after heating food i.e. piece of quiche for 2 minutes. Can write your name on the condensation inside the door. Inside fills with steam. Service tech from local dealer says the fan is working!! What a joke. I am 66 years old and have never seen this on any of my microwaves.

Condensation is a normal part of microwave cooking. Room humidity and the moisture in food will influence the amount of moisture that condenses in the microwave oven. Covering food items should reduce or even eliminate condensation. Ensure that the ventilation openings are not be blocked. No more Frigidaire products for me!

I purchased this microwaver about 2 years ago, and like others have said, the display stops working, it stops heating, and today it finally died. Over the time I've had it, I've had to unplug it for a few hours before it works again. The cord that runs from the display through the door hinge of the microwave constantly caused the unit's display to blink or go out completely. Sometimes the microwave seemed to working since the turntable was moving and the inside lights were on, but it was not heating the food. This is the second Frigidaire professional series microwave I had, after the 1st one died after about two years. I was fooled twice by its good looks, but I won't be fooled by this brand again.

Don't by a Frigidaire product

I bought five kitchen appliance for a new kitchen two years ago. So far, the refrigerator had to have a complete new ice maker installed, the range wouldn't light and had to be repaired and now my microwave door broke at the hinge and I have been waiting for a replacement for five weeks. It's a waste of time calling them because unless you have a lot of time waiting while placed on hold don't bother.

controls won’t work due to faulty wiring!

Since last month we are having trouble with making the controls work, we’ve been having to open and close the door to make controls work as the wire runs at the door hinge. Of course it would be doing that right after our 1 year warranty is up! I have never had this kind of problem with other microwave brands! Don’t buy this expensive microwave, it’s not worth it!!

Poor quality. Poor manufacturing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the professional series appliances for home remodel and the microwave has been replaced twice and now it fails to start at all. It appears the wiring from the unit to the door has frayed. Ice maker in the door of the refrigerator has quit working too. I will look for other brands next time I purchase and not rely on the name Frigidaire anymore. There’s no one close to us to repair.
