Broken handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In less than 2 years of use I literally just opened the door and I was left with the handle in my hands. We also have the refrigerator from them that also started to break parts after one year ( we have it for less than 2 years as well )

Poor design caused fire hazard within 15 months

After 15 months of normal use, it stopped working. Repair person found oil inside the part containing the wiring which is a fire hazard. The poor design does not separate the area with wiring from the area of air intake from cooking below. Do not buy this model. Extended warranty was unwilling to cover this.

Just falling apart

This thing sucks. It would be fine if it wasn’t just falling apart. Today the handle broke off from normal use. If your handle can to withstand being opened and closed, which is it’s intended function, then there’s faulty production.

Cooks well enough, but not worth the price

We have been disappointed in this microwave a few times now, but tonight takes the cake. The first couple of times our microwave stopped working, the whole left side of the front panel stopped working. It was inconvenient but some features were usable. Then the right side stopped working, which essentially made this useless because we could not stop or start cooking. We eventually got it fixed and it worked fine. Tonight I tried reheating something for 15 seconds and when I tried to open the microwave door, the handle broke off. This microwave is more trouble than it’s worth and I’m not even sure how to get the door open without a handle.

Unhappy in NW Arkansas

If I could give 0 stars I would. This microwave works great when it works. I have purchased 2 of these because the break the month after the warranty runs out. The board just says unplug. Don't waste your money. I am disappointed in Frigidaire.

Great when it Works, but that time is limited. It will break.

Bought this microwave as an appliance package in 2018. Had to replace it under warranty in 2020 because the door broke. And now in 2023 I am having to replace it again because it completely stopped working, the electric board on it froze and there's no fix. When it works, it's a great microwave. But it will break on you, its not made to last.

Love it, but...

We purchased this (new) about six weeks ago as a set for our new home. The problem is that, since I used the convection oven one time, the microwave only works intermittently. I'm attaching a video. You put in the time desired for cooking, press 'start', and the light comes on but nothing happens. This is not counting down a timer; if it goes to zero, it just shuts off. But does not cook anything. The only way to get it out of this is to unplug the entire unit. Has anyone had this problem? We don't know what to do and don't even know how to search a solution as we're not sure what the problem is!
