Love this beautiful microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased about a month ago. Not only does it work wonderfully this microwave is beautiful inside. Huge baked potatoes take only a few minutes. There are,any features I have yet to use. I just can’t say enough about this microwave. We purchased all new Frigidaire appliances for our recent kitchen remodel and couldn’t be happier.

Had my Microwave Oven for only 3 years. Used it one morning and all of a sudden it went off. Went down to basement and clicked back on Circuit switch Went to use Microwave again and again it shuts off the Circuit switch. Now it’s a situation to where the Clock works and the Light underneath it that lights over Cooking Range works, but each time when Start is pressed to use…..off it goes. In 3 years? Ridiculous

Left side of touch pad not working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't even had this convection microwave for a full year yet, and all of the buttons on the left side of the control panel stopped working. All of the buttons on the right side work fine though. I'm wondering if there is a fuse for each side of the panel, and the one for the right side may have blown, or if you could tell me what else might be wrong.

Short lifespan (2 to 3 years)

We've gone through 2 of these over the last 5 years. The first was a 2016 model, which lasted about 2 years before needing a repair so expensive that replacing the microwave seemed the better investment. The replacement, a 2018 model, lasted 3 years before requiring a similarly expensive repair (touch panel stopped responding). A cursory internet search yielded an estimated average microwave lifespan of between 5 to 10 years, depending on how well-maintained it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered appliances for newly constructed home. Microwave arrived with scratch and dent on door. Door was replaced. Second door had two dents also so another door was ordered. Door on this second microwave came off hinges - believe hinges were bent before or during installation. Appliance store where purchased sent a repairman out on day before Christmas, who got door back on which we were really grateful for as we had 13 people coming for Christmas dinner. Door number 3 hasn't yet arrived. We like the microwave and would probably give it a 5 star rating once fixed.

Poor Designn - Designed to fail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire Professional FPBM3077RF. My first one was when we lived in another state and remodeled our kitchen. We absolutely loved it. Worked well. Moved less than a year after remodel and purchased the same microwave model for the new house.
Less than eighteen months later it failed.

The wires that connect the door to the main oven (top of door )fatigued and broke. They are encased in fabric cording. To fix this it requires a whole new door assembly which costs almost the same as this microwave. That probably wouldn't solve the issue of the wires being pinched. I really liked this model and design.
Unless the design is corrected, I don't see a solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many other reviews I'm seeing on here my microwave has stopped working after only 17 months. The wires that connect the door to the main oven broke. I remodeled the whole kitchen with the professional series and now totally disappointed. I guess I will now have mismatched appliances because I will not pay that much for another microwave that doesn't last.
